Octopus Sweethearts

Happy Tuesday! Today is my day over on the Quick Creations Blog. I'm showcasing this cutesy Octopus stamp, who I stamped twice to create a little love couple. I didnt make this an overly romantic card but it can be, especially for water people. Seeing that the background paper is all Coral, I thought it would be great for a shaker card. There's a lot of wonder and beauty happening in the ocean and I wanted to show it off as much as I could with this paper.
Thanks for stopping by!

Don't forget that you still have a few days left to enter the February challenge over on the Quick Creations Blog and/or FB Group. You can win a $10 voucher to the Quick Creations Shop.

Freindship Fairies

Hi there! Wow were already half way through the week and it feels as if just started - must have more holidays :). Today I'm featuring the Tiddly Inks Friendship fairies on my card . This company is the cutest and I think the designer, Christy,  is amazing. She also has another line, Stamping Bella, that causes envy amongst us all as her female characters are tall and thin :)  You have both companies for sale at the Quick Creations Shop

For more info, check out the Quick Creations Blog and while there make sure to check out the challenge page. The prize is a $10 certificate and with the prices offered at the shop you can pick up this stamp and still have money left over for shipping.

Hello There Cub

Happy Presidents Day! I hope you had a good holiday weekend and got lots of rest, shopping and crafting :) I'm here to share this Spring inspired card featuring this adorable bear. It reminds me of the time when I was 10ish and I was out camping and I came across a mama bear and her cub and I was insane enough to think that I could go "pet" the baby bear. Luckily I was stopped in time by my family or else I doubt Id be here to tell this tale. Lol, live and learn :)

Tic-Tac-Whale

Hi there! Were just a few days away from Valentine so I thought I would share this CAS card that would be perfect for a guy, for a child or for a non frilly-fussy person :)
It features the adorable whales from Lawn Fawn. Although it looks simple, I must confess that it took me 3 times and a lot longer than I would have liked to get it just right. On the upside, I now have the correct measurements for everything and can replicate it quickly.
I hope your Wednesday is going well. Thanks for stopping by!

Sweetie Bean

Happy Wednesday! I'm here to share one of my recent Valentine/Friendship creations. I was going for a soft look this time but its a look I'm working on. I originally wanted her to have white/light grey hair but somehow it ended up being a lot darker than what i had hoped. The image I used is Sweetheart Bean, who is super cute for Valentine cards but is also great for other themes as well. She can be found at the Quick Creations Shop along with all the other products I used.

Ok, so lets get started. My card features lots of Lawn Fawn goodness. I used the set of cutesy elephants that make a great pair but also will look great on their own. When I saw this mini stamp set it automatically reminded me of my mother, she has always believed in the magic of elephants, so although this card isn't appropriate for mom I will make her a similar one. Plus, a little extra luck this year wont be so bad. C'mon elephants do your job :)
What I did to the card was use the "love" die all over the front panel and then popped it up on top of a sheet of dp. I sprinkled some hearts around the card and split up the sentiment for a maze like effect (which is why the elephants are separated).

Project 1 - Love Card
Stamp Image/Sentiment - Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons
Matching Die - Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons Die
Lawn Fawn: Scripty Love Die
Doodlebug Doilies: Cupcake
Paper - Dear Lizzy: Daydreamer 6x6 pad

For my Scrapbook LO, I used the awesome EP line "Head Over Heels". I'm doing a sort of Project Life album this year (its kind of hard for me to keep up with that system) but it did inspire me to create a Sunday Album. Every Sunday I create a mini 6x6 LO for my Currently cards (which are for us to journal on and write our current likes etc). The cut apart cards are from the same line except that they are on the 12x12 sheet. However, you can find them in mini form on the 6x6 pad.

Project 2 - Scrapbook LO
Paper - EchoPark: Head Over Heels 6x6 pad
Lawn Fawn: Scripty Love Die
Doodlebug Doilies: Cupcake
Lawn Fawn: Large Stitched Rectangle Dies
