Ham It Up

Hello All! I'm on the Quick Creations blog with a birthday card featuring this crazy little hog that likes to party.  My card was inspired by the Christmas Wreath, I didnt think it fair that wreaths are predominately used for holidays so I thought it was time that a birthday wreath be created. This little hog needs a special place to ham it up on. hehe.
Thanks for stopping by!

Ps. As a reminder: Head on over to the Quick Creations challenge blog to play along with the monthly challenge that is currently happening. As always, there will be a prize for playing.

Water You Up To?

Scroll down for my TGF Previews Day 1 post

Happy Monday!! I'm here to share some fun shaker inspiration featuring "dolly diver" who happens to be swimming around with the fishies when she notices a new friend has attached himself to her. As cute as the squid is, I don't think id be to keen to want to have it hitch a ride on me. All the extras come from a TGF set and was perfect to give the card that underwater effect. I was also going for a happy and bright card to put a smile on the recipients face, hence the pink and yellow sequins.

Now make sure to click on over to the Quick Creations blog for more inspiration and to the Quick Creations shop for your own goodies to play with. Noelle has filled the shop with lots of new goaodies from the greeting farm, krafting kimmie, doodlebug, echo park, my favorite things and many other.
Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Wishes

The Greeting Farm Blog - Summertime Challenge

Hello and Happy Day to you! I hope your weekend was a great one. Mine was full of sun, sun, a sweet boys birthday party and more sun. The weather has been out of control lately and Im hoping this week brings on some cool days. I'm continuing The Greeting Farm Series that is happening over at Quick Creations. Noelle is promoting several stamp companies and I got The Greeting Farm, woohoo! My character is Ian, so for the next few QC posts, its going to be all about him with some Anya thrown in the mix.

My previous Ian post had Ian and Anya going to a royal summer ball. Now, Ian is going to a summer party. This card was made for a sweet little 4 year old that just celebrated over the weekend. He loves cupcakes (of course), marvel (because he knows whats good for him) and being cute all around ;) This birthday Ian, although intended for birthdays, can also be used for other type of projects. I just think a little altering can be done or just left as is. I hope this inspires you to get crafty. Thanks for stopping by.

Riding The Waves

Happy Monday! I'm here today to kick off a new Greeting Farm Series that is happening over at Quick Creations. Noelle is promoting the greeting farm characters and my character is Ian, so for the next few QC posts, its going to be all about him with some Anya thrown in the mix.

What better way to start off this series than with a very summery shaker card ;) Ian is riding the waves and enjoying life. I popped him into the shaker card portion so when the card is moved around, he'll look like he's out there surfing. hehe. I hope this inspires you to get crafty or get out there and ride your own waves. Thanks for stopping by.

My supplies have been linked to QC Shop and while there make sure to check out the Sale she is currently having.

Ok, so lets get started. My card features lots of Lawn Fawn goodness. I used the set of cutesy elephants that make a great pair but also will look great on their own. When I saw this mini stamp set it automatically reminded me of my mother, she has always believed in the magic of elephants, so although this card isn't appropriate for mom I will make her a similar one. Plus, a little extra luck this year wont be so bad. C'mon elephants do your job :)
What I did to the card was use the "love" die all over the front panel and then popped it up on top of a sheet of dp. I sprinkled some hearts around the card and split up the sentiment for a maze like effect (which is why the elephants are separated).

Project 1 - Love Card
Stamp Image/Sentiment - Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons
Matching Die - Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons Die
Lawn Fawn: Scripty Love Die
Doodlebug Doilies: Cupcake
Paper - Dear Lizzy: Daydreamer 6x6 pad

For my Scrapbook LO, I used the awesome EP line "Head Over Heels". I'm doing a sort of Project Life album this year (its kind of hard for me to keep up with that system) but it did inspire me to create a Sunday Album. Every Sunday I create a mini 6x6 LO for my Currently cards (which are for us to journal on and write our current likes etc). The cut apart cards are from the same line except that they are on the 12x12 sheet. However, you can find them in mini form on the 6x6 pad.

Project 2 - Scrapbook LO
Paper - EchoPark: Head Over Heels 6x6 pad
Lawn Fawn: Scripty Love Die
Doodlebug Doilies: Cupcake
Lawn Fawn: Large Stitched Rectangle Dies
