Graphicat Sketch #8 with a TPS Sponsor

Happy Monday! It's the start of another Graphicat Sketch, #8 to be exact. This one is has a lot of possibilities, so hopefully, you play along.

Here is my take on the sketch. I used one of my favorite Tickled Pink Stamp images, Lil Little Lolita Ivy, who is currently on sale. In case you haven't heard, Tickled Pink Stamps is having a blow out sale where all rubber stamps must go and digis have a 25% off. Sadly Tickled Pink will be closing down, which you can read about it HERE, but in the meantime all images are still available for purchase so make sure you get yours.

This week, TPS is sponsoring The Corrosive Challenge, where the theme is Flowers, Doilies and Bling (use at least 2 of the 3).  I used all three items, how could I not, I just looooooove me some flowers :)

Fantabulous Cricut Guest Spot

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend . This week I am the Fantabulous Monday Guest over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. Shocking, I know. Lol. But I still do use my cricut machine for my shapes and card bases, and the occasional image.

The theme for this week is: Mother/Special Lady using her Favorite Colors. I created this card with my Mum in mind. She loves green so I choose this soft green from an old DCWV stack (name unknown as I tore off the front cover way back when I bought it).  My image comes from Kates ABCs. I just love that cart, I think its the cutest thing ever but I hardly use it. To be honest, the thought of finding the right DP for all those layers puts me off. Lol. So I decided to give the cartridge my flair. I used the Cri-Kits to draw out the image and then I colored it with my Prismacolor pencils. I probably take longer coloring then gluing the layers but this is more me :)

So now its your turn to make your "Mami" her special card. A HUGE Thanks to FCCB for having me as their special Monday Guest. Please hop on over to Fantabulous Cricut to check out all the wonderful cricut creations the DT created and to play along.

Graphicat Sketch #7: Cooler Together

Happy Monday Morning!!! Hmmmm, that seems a little wrong to say, Lol. It's time to get up and start the week and this week, I'm starting it off with a new Graphicat Sketch. We are already at #7, Wow time flies!

Here's my take on the sketch. I know it may look a little off but I swear it's hiding in there. Lol. I rotated it to the right. The images are from the new School Pinkettes line from Tickled Pink Stamps. I thought Jessie and Heidi would look cute together, especially because Heidi looks like a silly little gal.

The sentiment is "Way Cooler" with a cool price of $1.00 from Graphicat Designs.

Make sure you hop on over to the Graphicat Sketch Blog to check out the amazing samples from the rest of the Catz :). And make sure to play along :)

Tickled Pink Stamps is Sponsoring...

Hey All, Happy Sunday!!!  Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring Two different challenge blogs this week, Crafting When We Can and The Corrosive Challenge. So that means you'll get double chances to try and win some TPS images.

For my card, I used Lil Allsort Fairy Kira. This is one bad ass fairy, so not your typical type. I paired her up with this very funny and sarcastic sentiment from Graphicat Designs called Happiness Fairy. This sentiment can be found in digi and clear stamp form. This is going to make a perfect Birthday Card for my oldest niece, who can be surly and have a 'tude sometimes, but I know she's going to love it because of it.

Make sure you pop on over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to check out what the Pink Ladies created. You don't want to miss it.

If You're Feeling Blue -

Happy Wednesday! It looks like a gloomy day today and how ironic that the day be the way it is as today's card is all about the crazy April weather and the different moods it brings about.

The original theme behind this card is April Showers bring May Flowers. I decided to depict the emotions and mood changes we encounter through out this time. With rain and gloom, it can cause a person to feel "blue" (ie: sad, etc). But once the sun is shining, all feelings of despair evaporate and a much more cheery and colorful disposition comes about.
