TGF Special Halloween Release Day

Happy Friday everyone! It’s here…..RELEASE DAY for the surprise Halloween stamp sets and their coordinating dies.  We had two days of previews (Scaredy Cats and Peek-a-Boo) and they are now available for purchase at The Greeting Farm Store.  Below is a reminder of my preview projects.

And now onto my  release day project... because I created cards for previews, I wanted to create an envelope to send one of the cards in. We as card makers get so focused on the cards that we forget that plain white envelopes don't do the cards justice and that they deserve "tricked out" envelopes. hehe. I used a combination of both stamp sets on the envelope, going for a batsy, semi-spooky theme while making sure to keep the cute and cuddly.

Now for the even more fun part, with every new release all farm friends get the chance to win their very own stamp sets so make sure you hop on over to The Greeting Farm for some trick or treating. Good Luck!

TGF May Release Blog Hop

Happy Friday everyone! The Greeting Farm has been showcasing their new May Release of some adorable clear stamps sets on the TGF Blog for the last 2 days. These new clear stamps are NOW available in The Greeting Farm Store. Today they are back showcasing the last 2 sets of clear stamps along with an amazing BLOG HOP. They also have some guest designers joining in, me being one of them. Yay!

The last 2 clear stamps sets being featured on the TGF Blog are BEARY CUTE and WOOD FRIENDS. And because it’s release day, The Greeting Farm is having a BLOG HOP. This time around The Greeting Farm are going to pick two winners and each person will receive 3 clear stamp sets from this new release!

The stamp set I used on my card is 'Wood Friends'. I made it a love theme card aiming for the theme, 'Love sees no boundaries' I was hoping to achieve that by making the squirrel and deer a couple. hehe. But as I kept looking at the scene/image, I thought that it can also be a parent/child relationship. In the end tho, my aim was for it to convey Love and I believe i got there :)

Make sure to leave a comment on all the blogs listed below before 12pm CST on Monday, May 11th. The winners will be announced on May 12th by The Greeting Farm.

Here is the Blog Hop List!

TGF May Release: Day 2

Hi there! Today is preview day 2 over at The Greeting Farm and I'm very happy to partake in it. Today's preview includes 'Hoppy Hello' and 'Cuddly Thanks'. All sets are sooo cute but this fox may be my favorite, although I may change my mind tomorrow :).

I combined both stamp sets on this card. The fox, tree stump and sentiment comes from 'Cuddly Thanks', whereas the butterflies and grass comes from 'Hoppy Hello'.  My original plan for this cutie was to be colored with markers but after 3 attempts, I decided that it wasn't going to work for me :/ So I kept the vellum but I painted him with acrylic paints. This also allowed me to flip his position.
Make sure you hop on over to the TGF blog to check out what the farmers have to show you and make sure you come back tomorrow as it will be the 'release day blog hop' where you'll get the opportunity to win some of the stamp sets. WooHoo! Thanks for stopping by.

Ok, so lets get started. My card features lots of Lawn Fawn goodness. I used the set of cutesy elephants that make a great pair but also will look great on their own. When I saw this mini stamp set it automatically reminded me of my mother, she has always believed in the magic of elephants, so although this card isn't appropriate for mom I will make her a similar one. Plus, a little extra luck this year wont be so bad. C'mon elephants do your job :)
What I did to the card was use the "love" die all over the front panel and then popped it up on top of a sheet of dp. I sprinkled some hearts around the card and split up the sentiment for a maze like effect (which is why the elephants are separated).

Project 1 - Love Card
Stamp Image/Sentiment - Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons
Matching Die - Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons Die
Lawn Fawn: Scripty Love Die
Doodlebug Doilies: Cupcake
Paper - Dear Lizzy: Daydreamer 6x6 pad

For my Scrapbook LO, I used the awesome EP line "Head Over Heels". I'm doing a sort of Project Life album this year (its kind of hard for me to keep up with that system) but it did inspire me to create a Sunday Album. Every Sunday I create a mini 6x6 LO for my Currently cards (which are for us to journal on and write our current likes etc). The cut apart cards are from the same line except that they are on the 12x12 sheet. However, you can find them in mini form on the 6x6 pad.

Project 2 - Scrapbook LO
Paper - EchoPark: Head Over Heels 6x6 pad
Lawn Fawn: Scripty Love Die
Doodlebug Doilies: Cupcake
Lawn Fawn: Large Stitched Rectangle Dies

Grey Goes West Release Hop

Hey All. Today we are celebrating a brand new saucy release over at Graphicat Designs. It is a combined release of Western "raunchy" :) sentiments as well as some "naughty" Fifty Shades of Grey ones. If you are just starting make sure you HOP BACK TO THE START with Cheri where you will find a freebie. If you have been hopping along then WOW, right!! and that means you should be hoping over from Sarahs

The theme of the blog is Western and 50 Shades but since I'm not much of a western gal (Nature and I just do not mesh well, lol) I decided to use the "smutty" 50 Shades sentiments. Hehehe. Ok so I'll confess and say that I haven't read any of the books. I have the general idea of what the first one is about but of course none of the juicy tidbits. So since this Mr Grey is Tall Dark and Handsome with a little kink in him I figured he is just the one we've all been dreaming about me :D

This sexy gal stamp is Raychel from Kraftin Kimmie. I thought she matched perfectly with this sentiment and  because I can just imagine this stance of hers as her online profile picture. You know how us gals can be :) lol

Ok so now hop on over to the Graphicat Sketch Challenge to see the sketch of the week and another freebie. WooHoo!! To see the complete new release, Check them out here
Thanks for stopping by!!

Ps. For a chance to win one of the new sentiments, leave a comment and a random winner will be chosen. Also one person will win the complete release, but for that you must play along  with the sketch :) Remember that you can rotate the sketch if you need to, I did.

I will be playing with:
Kraftin Kimmie Challenge - 138 Stitching
Color Me Creative Classroom - Anything Goes with a Girly Twist
** edited to submit to Designed To Color - Theme Week, Day 5: The Men in your Life **
Thanks!

Crafty Sprouts Recap Hop

Hello Crafty Sprout Friends. We are here today to wrap up our Recap Event with a little mini blog hop where you will see new and favorite projects. Thank you to all of you that stopped by the CS blog to leave bloggy love. We hope we inspired you and shed new light on how to use your stamp sets. Today I will be showcasing a new and and 2 oldies/favorites.

You should be hopping over from Erika's blog (Mrs. Crafty Sprouts herself) where the hop is beginning.

For my first card, I'm featuring the Monster Kisses set (which is currently sold out but will return to the Crafty Sprouts shop soon). This set is versatille, which I love, because it can be used for your monster projects as well as valentine, friendship and boy cards. Talk about quadruple whammy!!

Image: Jack-Creepin Kit, The Greeting Farm

For my second card, I'm featuring the Are you Ready to Rock set. I'm a big Music lover and my music of choice is Rock, Alternative, etc. therefor this set is quite special for me. It's excellent for all your rock projects geared not only for the cool dudes in your life but also all the rockin chicks (that'd be me, lol).

Image: CC Friday, The Greeting Farm

For my last card, I'm featuring the Besties for Life set. I was inspired by the sentiment I used and the movie Bridesmaids. For those of that have seen this film know that these are some crazy friends and they would do anything for the bride (her character name escapes me right now).

Image: Miss Anya Dressy, The Greeting Farm

Mini Blog Candy: Would you like to win my "Bridesmaids" card? Leave a comment and Ill announce my winner on of after Monday.

Thanks for hopping by. You next stop is KACEE.

At the end of the hop, make sure you hop on over to the Crafty Sprouts Shop to pick up your sets today (some currently on SALE).
