Cute, right! I hope you found inspiration here today and start on your christmas projects.

DECEMBER Farm Fresh Challenge: Sparkle

Happy DECEMBER 1st! Wow!! That was insanely quick how this year just went by. It is the last farm fresh and this time we want to see some ... SPARKLE.  It's time to go crazy with your sequins, gems, sparly paper and work on some fun projects. I went for a fairy winter wonderland theme because these fairies are just too cute to be only used for spring/summer projects. They look right at home with all the girly colors.

Make sure to click over to the TGF blog to see what the rest of the farmers created for you. You will also find the guidelines there so you can play along with us. Thanks for stopping by.

Mini Pony Party: Sending You Sparkles

Happy Sunday! I'm here today because there is a special post on the TGF blog featuring the Mini Pony Party set from STAMPtember. This stamp set is a real cutie and exclusive to the month long celebration that is currently happening at Simon Says Stamp. It's a big party every day over there so make sure to pop on over and order all the exclusive stamps that you can along with lots of TGF cuties.  Now onto my project....

I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest featuring penguins and snow and so I thought, why not pair the cute ponies and unicorns with elves getting ready for the big day (but of course having fun in the process). So here they are, getting ready for a big snowball fight. I wonder who will win. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi, I'm back with our last day of July previews. They have all been super cute so far, am i right? Today, we are previewing the set POP OUT CHRISTMAS, which is all about the Christmas icons. They were created in a semi-chibi form tho which makes them look even cuter. If you add some wobbles to the back of these icons, they will look super adorbs shaking about. As you can see, I created layered tags which will make the gifts pop.

Just as a reminder, the release is happening tomorrow and will be available for purchase at The Greeting Farm Store. Wwill also be having a New Release Blog Hop were 1 lucky person will win the entire release! July Release Preview Day 3: HO HO HOLIDAY

Hi, I'm back with Day 3 of previews for the JULY Release, which will be available for purchase at The Greeting Farm Store on Friday, July 22nd. We have four new sets coming out with their coordinating dies and they all revolve around Christmas time! Eeek, it is officially the midway point and it is time to start creating your cards and making those lists.

Today, we are previewing the set HO HO HOLIDAY, which is all about Santa and his adorable elf helpers. I think this one may be my favorite set out of the four because all the icons are just uber adorable. For my 1st card, I thought I go for a fun party type card similar to my mice card, in which Santa and his elves are jumping getting ready for the big day.

Now its time to head over to the TGF Blog to see what the rest of the design team created for you. See you tomorrow for day 4. Don't forget we will also be having a New Release Blog Hop were 1 lucky person will win the entire release! Thanks for stopping by!

July Release Preview Day 2: LET'S MINGLE

Hi, I'm back with Day 2 of previews for the JULY Release, which will be available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store on Friday, July 22nd. We have four new sets coming out with their coordinating dies and they all revolve around Christmas time! Eeek, it is officially the midway point and it is time to start creating your cards and making those lists.

Today, we are previewing the set LETS MINGLE, which is all about cutesy mice. When you think of mice you don't necessarily think cute or christmasy but i think Ratatouille changed our minds on that one. For my card, I thought I go for a fun party type card. The mice are jumping all over the place with their cheese, cookies and gifts waiting for santa to drop by.

Now its time to head over to the TGF Blog to see what the rest of the design team created for you. See you tomorrow for day 3. Don't forget we will also be having a New Release Blog Hop were 1 lucky person will win the entire release! Thanks for stopping by!

July Release Preview Day 1: DASHING

Happy first day of Preview! Today we start showcasing the JULY Release, which will be available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store on Friday, July 22nd. We have four new sets coming out with their coordinating dies and they all revolve around Christmas time! Eeek, it is officially the midway point and it is time to start creating your cards and making those lists.

Today, we are previewing the adorable set DASHING! Who are the ones that do all the dashing, the cute reindeer of course. This set will be great for lots of Christmas projects as it comes with several friendly reindeer and lots of sentiments. For my card, I was inspired by the way the "girl" reindeer is drawn and she looked like she was ready to give a reindeer kiss to her mate right before take off.  And so there you have it, a little reindeer love card ;)

Now its time to head over to the TGF Blog to see what the rest of the design team created for you. See you tomorrow for day 2. Don't forget we will also be having a New Release Blog Hop were 1 lucky person will win the entire release! Thanks for stopping by!

Have a Cool Yule Recap

** Warning: Picture Heavy **
Entering the entire project: Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Simply B Stamps: Jude Christmas Line
I used the April Sketch: Graphicat Designs (Rotated)

Hello Scrappy Friends. A few days left and the year is over. Wow!! Time sure did pass by quickly. Ok so onto my post: Over the next few days, the Crafty Sprouts gals are reviewing all the sets that have been released so far. I was up first with Have A Cool Yule.  I know that Christmas has just passed but because it just passed, we now need a place to record all the wonderful memories. I created a paper bag mini (one of the few that Ill be making).

Picture2: Side View of complete Mini

Mini Page 1and2

I like this format because it can be kept simple or you can add on to it. This mini took several hours to make (but because I sometimes sit there and stare into space thinking if I should add an embellishment. lol) But if you have a paper line that you really like and you just want that to shine (no images or embellishments) then you can create the mini in about 30 minutes (give or take 10-15 min).

Mini Pages 3and4

This album has 3 inserts for Tags, loose pictures, papers, etc. In this picture you see the back of the first 2 picture tags I created for this purpose. On the front, you attach your image and on the back (with the stamped sentiment) you journal about your event.

Middle Section of Mini

I originally was going to keep it simple and straight forward but then I saw the opportunity to add pockets and tags which is what is also seen here.

This is a second shot of the middle section but here you see the tags.

Mini Pages 7and8

Mini Pages 9and10

The end of the book with the last opening for tags. In total, you are given 8 picture spaces. 2 Pockets with 3 Picture and Journal Tags. 3 openings that holds 6 large Picture/Journal Tags. Not bad rental space if you ask me. Shoot, sometimes I only take 1-2 pictures per event so really I have diddly squat to fill this with. lol.

Of course I needed to use Crafty Sprouts signature barcode stamp for the back of my book. It gives it that finishing touch.

Large Picture/Journal Tags for the openings.
Images: Oscar, Ariel and Ali

Please note that I am not finished coloring my images. I just got a bit tired and decided to finish it off in a few days. You know when you have sat there and stared at a project for a few days, you just want to finish up and add the few minor details later. Well here it is for me :) Or maybe I might decide to leave them as is and say it was a Creative decision. lol.

Here are some of the tags that come with the mini. All images are from Simply B Stamps. I used the complete Jude and the Rockers Christmas line. Aren't they all SUPER ADORABLE in their footie pajamas. Squeal!!!! I just want to pinch their cheeks. This Christmas line is by far my fave from Jude and the Rockers. I highly recommend you hop on over to pick up all 6. The quality is awesome and you'll get a lot of use out of them.

Mini Blog Candy: I'm preparing an assortment of Christmas papers for you to play with. Ill load a picture in a few days (if I can do it before I go on my mini break ill do so). Ill leave this open until the end of the Recap Event (the 11th). Ill announce my winner on January 13.

Thanks for stopping by!

Tag It! Round 2

WooHoo!! I'm doing the happy dance over here because a) it's Friday and b) the massive craaaaaaazy scary winds we had are over (knock on wood, I hope I'm not jinxing myself here).
Lol, ok so onto today's project. Today is our reminder day of our current Crafty Sprouts Challenge: Tag It! Create a Tag or use a Tag on your project. I created a set of Tags using these Greeting Farm cuties, WS Vivi and Beanie Anya. I was trying to create clean and simple tags that will be easy to mass produce and won't hurt me when they get tossed on Christmas Day. So far, I haven't found that tag yet. Lol. These took me a lot longer than expected but hey, then it wouldn't be me. :D

I hope you get to join us this challenge. You'll get a head start on your Holidays Tags and you get the chance to win an awesome prize: the SMILE ON set, one of the brand new Crafty Sprout sets. Speaking of, all IN STOCK sets are on sale for $12.50 with FREE shipping. Talk about GREAT VALUE!!! Stock is limited and the sale will last for a few days more. Make sure you hop on over to the Crafty Sprouts Shop to buy those sets you may be missing.

I will be playing with: RCC - #31 Kraft, Brown, Red. Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes. Cupcake Craft Challenge - Color on Kraft. Bearly Mine Challenge - Favorite Things (TGF Stamps, Prismacolor Pencils). PaperPlay Challenge - Tags. 7Kids College Fund - Non Traditional Christmas Colors.

Thanks for stopping by!

Holly Jolly Blog Hop - Day2

Welcome back to day2 of our Holly Jolly Blog Hop. Thank you to all of you that came out to hop with us last night. I'm happy to see that you enjoyed day 1. I hope you are ready for more :)

Before I continue on, I want to remind you that you must hop along to every blog in order to qualify for the 3 Grand Prizes. Our Sponsors for the hop are Scrapadabadoo (a scrapping care package), Sarah Pink Cricut (a new holiday stamp set) and Always Crafting (the Mystery Prize-Peachy Keen Certificate).

You should be hoping over from Sandra's blog. Since I'm the last stop you can stay here and then loop around until you come back.

For my 2nd project, I decided to create a DVD cover. I know that during the holidays people like to send out newsletters to their friends and relatives. I decided that a DVD version of a newsletter would be a nice upgrade. So I will be creating a DVD for my sister. I will compile all videos and pictures of my niece and create a movie for her. This way she can have something to look back at in the future years.

Picture 1: Front of the Project

Picture 2: For my main image I used this cutie from Twinkle Toes. I just realized that she has a big head. They all do, Lol. But they are still super cute!!! I drew the face in myself. I was going for a peachy keen look. I also used a couple of my Prismacolor Pencils to shade in her skin tone. From time to time I like to use my pencils on my cuts. I find that it can give it a new look. I made a mini tutorial on how you can use your color pencils with your cricut cuts here.  Other carts used were Lacy Labels, Mickey Font and Winter Frolic. The sentiment reads, "Sweet Memories".
Picture 3: Final Product

I am the last stop on this hop. Tank you for hoping with us last night and this morning. I hope that you enjoyed our projects and walked away with plenty of new ideas for your holiday gifts. If you are interested in looking at a few more ideas, here are some projects I have worked on:
Altered Project, Bookmark, Gift Wrapping Ideas One and Two.

Remember: In order to qualify for the grand prizes you must leave bloggy love on every stop. You have until midnight Eastern Standard Time on Sunday 12/12. All winners will be announced on/or after Monday.

**For my personal blog candy of the day, I am offering 10 cuts from the Twinkle Toes cartridge. You don't have to be a follower but I would love it if you would be. I have plenty of projects I would love to share with you. Im hoping to have another project for you tomorrow.
