STAMPtember Exclusive: The Greeting Farm

Hi farm friends! It is STAMPtember over at Simon Says Stamp and today they are celebrating The Greeting Farm.  WooHoo!! As you know they are a stampers favorite and they are carried by many shops, including Simon Says Stamp. To join the celebration, Marie (farm owner) created a special set featuring the uber cute and popular unicorns, called “Mini Pony Party“.  This set was designed specially for STAMPtember and are available while supplies last…a matching die set will be available for purchase as well but won't be shipping until later this month.

Make sure to stay tuned as I will be back later this month with projects featuring these adorable ponies and unicorns. TGF Special Halloween Release Day

Happy Friday everyone! It’s here…..RELEASE DAY for the surprise Halloween stamp sets and their coordinating dies.  We had two days of previews (Scaredy Cats and Peek-a-Boo) and they are now available for purchase at The Greeting Farm Store.  Below is a reminder of my preview projects.

And now onto my  release day project... because I created cards for previews, I wanted to create an envelope to send one of the cards in. We as card makers get so focused on the cards that we forget that plain white envelopes don't do the cards justice and that they deserve "tricked out" envelopes. hehe. I used a combination of both stamp sets on the envelope, going for a batsy, semi-spooky theme while making sure to keep the cute and cuddly. 

Now for the even more fun part, with every new release all farm friends get the chance to win their very own stamp sets so make sure you hop on over to The Greeting Farm for some trick or treating. Good Luck!

Hi all! I'm on the TGF blog today with a Peter Pan inspired piece. When I saw the mermaids, I knew right away that they would be great for creating this type of scene. The way they are drawn allowed me to place them as if they're just hanging about, enjoying each others company and listening to Pan play his flute.  Since this piece is loosely based on the mermaid scene from that movie, Pan is a fairy and she has no flute ;)

Farm Fresh Challenge: Step Into Spring

Wow! Its already May, I am here today to bring you some farmer inspiration. It's the 1st of the month and that means it's time for a new farmer monthly challenge to begin. Our theme is... Step Into Spring. The theme is broad enough for you to be inspired by spring colors, flowers, critters, rain, really anything that reminds you of spring in May. I was inspired by the idea of spring colors because I find them a very girly-pretty color palette (one of my faves). These 2 gals are thoroughly enjoying their Starbucks and are on cloud 9 while doing so ;) Now its your turn to go find your Spring inspiration. Here are a few simple guidelines to play along with us:

– Entries must be uploaded via InLinkz (below) no later than May 31st at 12:00PM (noon) CST. Maximum 2 entries per person. (If the InLinkz tool is missing, feel free to link your submission URL in the comment section.)

TGF Special Release - Miss Anya Spring

Happy Sunday!! We are back with another special release and this time it features the Miss Anyas. This rubber set is called Miss Anya Spring who are perfect for all sorts of Spring projects. I was inspired by their cute dresses to go for a cheesy prom picture theme. For those of you that went to an American prom, know that backgrounds are either columns, balloons, or sheer curtains and in some cases all of the elements :) but I didn't want to over do it. hehe. So I went with the balloon backdrop and attached "my prom picture" to a paper frame that has the theme/year of the prom.

We had previews of these awesome stamps over the last few days on the TGF Blog, and NOW they are available in The Greeting Farm Store. Since it’s Release Day we are having a BLOG HOP, where 1 lucky person will win this entire release!

Here is my project for you, a pair of shaker tags. Last release I created a shaker card and why break my pattern? hehe. I thought these would be fun tags to attach to small gifts or happy mail. They took a while to create (as I had to make sure none of the sequins would fall out) but they can be easily recreated. I used both the I Love Dad and I Love Mom stamp and die cut sets for this. Both sets worked great together because they sentiments and images go with one another.
