Favorite Person to Laaugh With

Hello all! I'm over at the Quick Creations blog sharing a card featuring some adorable bunny friends. When I read the sentiments and the cuteness of the stamp set, I knew I needed to use it. The sweetness of the bunnies inspired me to create an "it'll be ok" type of card without actually saying those words. That is what is so great about the birdie brown sets, because they mix well with each other and they work for lots of different themes.
Thanks for stopping by!

All of Me Loves ...

Happy Friday! I'm here to share some quick inspiration featuring a pair of uber cute elephants from Stampingbella. They are part of their stuffies line that is filled with lots of cute animals. I was inspired by the mother/child theme of the elephants to use the large sentiment from the doodlebug paper pad.

Now make sure to click on over to the Quick Creations blog for more inspiration and to the Quick Creations shop for your own goodies to play with. Noelle has filled the shop with lots of new goodies from doodlebug, echo park, my favorite things and many other.

You Color my World Starry Anya

Hello Farm Friends! Today is my day to share on the Greeting Farm blog and I have a project featuring the brand new clear stamp- Starry Anya.  Isn't she a cutie?!! My inspiration for this card began with her name, Starry. The idea was to create a muted card with lots of stars in outer space and have a cheesy saying to go along with it but it didn't take and thus a more colorful approach came about after re-booting my system.

Now its your turn to create your colorful project with this cutie, if you snatched her up during pre-sale, or any of the other images The Greeting Farm shop has to offer.  Thanks for stopping by!

Sentiment: Lawn Fawn - Starry Backdrops
Paper: Canson watercolor 90lb, Bristol smooth, Recollections 110lb white

Teddy, I Love You

Hello friends! I'm back with another project for Quick Creations that features a super cutesy Greeting Farm stamp set. The set was was created as a party theme set (as it has balloons and birthday hats) but I didn't let that stop me. I stamped out these mama and papa bears, colored them, paper pieced some clothes for them and voila - and I love you card. The sentiment was altered tho, originally it has a "WE" instead of "I" so I just cleaned the "W" before stamping it and drew in the "I" Plus this set isn't all party, it's perfect for kid projects as well, as it brings a young boy bear and a young girl bear and it has awesome sentiments and extras (hearts, stars, balloons, etc)

Click here to see the Greeting Farm clear stamp products that Noelle offers in her shop so you can pick some up for you. There is also a monthly challenge happening on the QC Blog and the theme is Shaker Cards, which are fun to make and give as gifts. Who doesn't love a little sparkle and sound in their cards. If you play along, you'll have a chance to win a store gift certificate. Click here to go to the challenge blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sweetest Things

Happy Wednesday! I'm here today to share a trio of creations I made using the Baby Anya and Ian set. This set is just completely adorable because, obviously you get both male and female babies but you also get the most adorable giraffe ever. These babies look great together or separate. I began with the tag (keeping the gift in mind) and then used the same technique to create a card. I did this to have a cohesive look so I could use them together, if need be.

In regards to the giraffe card, I was aiming for a back to school look/encouragement card but I may have failed in that aspect. Lol. I created it with  my niece in mind (as she is still into cutesy images such as this one) but when I asked what she thought, she said it looked like it was made for a baby :) So the sentiment didn't seem to make an impact and it looks like Ill need to change it.

Since today is my day over on the Quick Creations blog/shop make you sure you hop over where you'll find my post along with the materials I used linked to the shop. While there make sure you take a look around as Noelle is currently having a Back to School Sale.
Thanks for stopping by

TGF May Release Blog Hop

Happy Friday everyone! The Greeting Farm has been showcasing their new May Release of some adorable clear stamps sets on the TGF Blog for the last 2 days. These new clear stamps are NOW available in The Greeting Farm Store. Today they are back showcasing the last 2 sets of clear stamps along with an amazing BLOG HOP. They also have some guest designers joining in, me being one of them. Yay!

The last 2 clear stamps sets being featured on the TGF Blog are BEARY CUTE and WOOD FRIENDS. And because it’s release day, The Greeting Farm is having a BLOG HOP. This time around The Greeting Farm are going to pick two winners and each person will receive 3 clear stamp sets from this new release!

The stamp set I used on my card is 'Wood Friends'. I made it a love theme card aiming for the theme, 'Love sees no boundaries' I was hoping to achieve that by making the squirrel and deer a couple. hehe. But as I kept looking at the scene/image, I thought that it can also be a parent/child relationship. In the end tho, my aim was for it to convey Love and I believe i got there :)

Make sure to leave a comment on all the blogs listed below before 12pm CST on Monday, May 11th. The winners will be announced on May 12th by The Greeting Farm.

Here is the Blog Hop List!

Hi there! Were just a few days away from Valentine so I thought I would share this CAS card that would be perfect for a guy, for a child or for a non frilly-fussy person :)
It features the adorable whales from Lawn Fawn. Although it looks simple, I must confess that it took me 3 times and a lot longer than I would have liked to get it just right. On the upside, I now have the correct measurements for everything and can replicate it quickly.
I hope your Wednesday is going well. Thanks for stopping by!

Sweetie Bean

Happy Wednesday! I'm here to share one of my recent Valentine/Friendship creations. I was going for a soft look this time but its a look I'm working on. I originally wanted her to have white/light grey hair but somehow it ended up being a lot darker than what i had hoped. The image I used is Sweetheart Bean, who is super cute for Valentine cards but is also great for other themes as well. She can be found at the Quick Creations Shop along with all the other products I used.

Ok, so lets get started. My card features lots of Lawn Fawn goodness. I used the set of cutesy elephants that make a great pair but also will look great on their own. When I saw this mini stamp set it automatically reminded me of my mother, she has always believed in the magic of elephants, so although this card isn't appropriate for mom I will make her a similar one. Plus, a little extra luck this year wont be so bad. C'mon elephants do your job :)
What I did to the card was use the "love" die all over the front panel and then popped it up on top of a sheet of dp. I sprinkled some hearts around the card and split up the sentiment for a maze like effect (which is why the elephants are separated).

Project 1 - Love Card
Stamp Image/Sentiment - Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons
Matching Die - Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons Die
Lawn Fawn: Scripty Love Die
Doodlebug Doilies: Cupcake
Paper - Dear Lizzy: Daydreamer 6x6 pad

For my Scrapbook LO, I used the awesome EP line "Head Over Heels". I'm doing a sort of Project Life album this year (its kind of hard for me to keep up with that system) but it did inspire me to create a Sunday Album. Every Sunday I create a mini 6x6 LO for my Currently cards (which are for us to journal on and write our current likes etc). The cut apart cards are from the same line except that they are on the 12x12 sheet. However, you can find them in mini form on the 6x6 pad.

Project 2 - Scrapbook LO
Paper - EchoPark: Head Over Heels 6x6 pad
Lawn Fawn: Scripty Love Die
Doodlebug Doilies: Cupcake
Lawn Fawn: Large Stitched Rectangle Dies

Flowers, Pearls and Hearts

Valentine's Day may have passed but I was just gifted this new MME paper pad that I couldn't resist. I love the pink and grey scheme so I went for it. I think it can work as a friendship/family love card.

Baby Fairy Love

Happy Wednesday! We are half way through the week and almost done with the first month of the year. OMG!!! Lol. Today I have a Love theme card featuring one of the adorable baby fairies from Mo Manning. He is uber adorable and makes me want a baby the looks like him. One day, one day :)

I hope that I don't bore you with this paper as I'm using it all up. Lol. I just love the look of it. I love the subtle tones with the mixture of nature and handwriting.
I'm playing with:
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Anything Goes
Mayzy Art - Romance
Little Miss Muffet - Hearts and Flowers (the hearts are embossed on the bottom left)

Now for a card without any coloring. I think this is my 2nd one that I've created like this. I must do it more often as the paper that we all love can be powerful on its own. Plus I think this look works especially well for male cards. I used the Art Type Stack from DCWV.

Im playing with:
DCWV January Stack-a-holic Challenge
The Corrosive Challenge - Stick a Pin in it

And here's a peek of some birthday cards and Valentine cards that will be popping up in the next few days.

The Greeting Farm is spreading the Love

Happy Friday!! I'm here with a long-ish post :) ...

TGF is spreading the love this Thanksgiving holiday. Jessica and Marie are very thankful and feel blessed for what they have and they wanted to show gratitude with a special Thanksgiving challenge.
The Challenge: Create a card or project with the theme of Thankfulness. You must use a TGF image to play along. Once you enter your card, please send Jessica a private email and nominate a person you might know that is a little down on their luck, struggling financially, etc. Please note that TGF will not share the name of the recipient you nominate - it will be private. Please click here to read the post in full.

My challenge card features Navajo Anya.

****

Now for our new Farm Fresh Friday challenge of the week..the theme is Twilight/Fairytale. I created a mini box using the new CC Sadie and I colored her up with Bella as a newly hatched vampire in mind (hence the red eyes).
On the inside, I added a Cullen necklace that I bought at Nordstrom along with an ATC featuring Flirty Edward from The Roll Call Kit. I think its a cute little gift for a Twi-Hard don't you think? :)

****

Now for a quickie card. I had this little gal colored up (who originally was slated for Halloween but seeing as that day has come and gone, lol) I decided to use her up for a "spooky birthday" theme card. Lol, I know I'm stretching it on this one but my stash of Kraftin Kimmie Stamps is extremely small and I wanted to play along with their Food/Drink Challenge. All I need to do is type up a Happy Birthday sentiment and I'm done. I'm in need of a good birthday stamp set. Any recommendations?

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you have a great Friday and weekend!

Happy Thursday!! It's going to be a very hot and nice day today. Hopefully the weather is warming up on your side. So onto my cards, I'm here with a few generic cards featuring my beloved Greeting Farm stamps. It was time to dust off my stamps, I had been ignoring them :( lol. These will be great for when I'm in a bind and  need a Birthday, Thank you or Whatever card.  Plus, I'm really trying to make a dent in my scraps. I've accumulated a smile pile on my table and I just want to get through all that, I need my space back. :)

I'm playing with:

TGF:Farm Fresh Challenge - Black/White plus One
TGF: Retro Fresh Challenge - Mommy Dearest
Bunny Zoe Crafts - Anything Goes

If you are new to the farm and you would like to start off with a nice set, I highly recommend this one. Sure its a big purchase off the bat but it's worth it, you'll get a lot for your money.
