Scroll down to see my post for the "Eggstra Special" Greeting Farm Preview post

Hello friends! I'm continuing my gorjuss girl series for Quick Creations and today I have this cute little girl that's a little reminiscent of a Florence nightingale or a school girl :) I  believe she was created to be used for winter theme cards but I changed it up and gave her some fun bright colors to make her look like's she's ready for a party.

These stamp sets are great because they bring the image of the gorjuss girl along with lots of extras, such as hearts, labels, animals etc. Click here to see all the gorjuss girls that Noelle offers in her shop so you can pick some up for you. She also has a Sale/Clearance section as well as a New Items and Pre-Orders happening in the QC Shop.
There is also a monthly challenge happening on the QC Blog and the theme is Shaker Cards, which are fun to make and give as gifts. Who doesn't love a little sparkle and sound in their cards. If you play along, you'll have a chance to win a store gift certificate. Click here to go to the challenge blog.

The Greeting Farm Blog - Summertime Challenge

Hello and Happy Day to you! I hope your weekend was a great one. Mine was full of sun, sun, a sweet boys birthday party and more sun. The weather has been out of control lately and Im hoping this week brings on some cool days. I'm continuing The Greeting Farm Series that is happening over at Quick Creations. Noelle is promoting several stamp companies and I got The Greeting Farm, woohoo! My character is Ian, so for the next few QC posts, its going to be all about him with some Anya thrown in the mix.

My previous Ian post had Ian and Anya going to a royal summer ball. Now, Ian is going to a summer party. This card was made for a sweet little 4 year old that just celebrated over the weekend. He loves cupcakes (of course), marvel (because he knows whats good for him) and being cute all around ;) This birthday Ian, although intended for birthdays, can also be used for other type of projects. I just think a little altering can be done or just left as is. I hope this inspires you to get crafty. Thanks for stopping by.

Sweet Cookie Wishes

Hello! How's your Saturday going? I hear "The Lego Movie" playing in the background so it looks like it might be one of those days plus it's extremely warm today (above 80 degrees) so I might be staying in for the most part  - evening is the best anyway :)

Anyways, here's a card i created using the Lawn Fawn cookie set. It can be used as a friendship/hello card as well as a birthday card. Some of us likes cookies much more than cake ;). Thats all for now.

Hey all!! It is turning out to be beautiful today, my app says that we will be hitting 70 degrees around noon. Yay!! I hope it doesnt lie to me like it has in the past. Grrr. Lol.

Yesterday I gave a peek of a few cards Ive been working on. Today I have a couple of birthday cards. I'm all about using up all my paper to try to avoid having scraps. I managed to use 4 sheets of 6x6 for both cards, although it was a bit difficult afterwards but I had very little to toss. So yay! for that. Have a Rockin' Bday

Happy Friday!! It is time for a brand new Farm Fresh Friday challenge over at the Farm. The theme for this week is Paaaaarrrteeeyyyyy! My teamie Melissa was in charge this week and she was throwing herself a goodbye party as our term will be ending at the end of this year. Sniff, sniff. Time has gone by too quickly.

Any-hoo. I created a birthday card for my friends son. He will be celebrating in a few weeks and he was crazy about the card I made for him last year that I made this one a little extra special. Last year I kind of just slapped something together thinking he would toss it to the side after tearing it open. But I was wrong.

I hope you have a Rockin' weekend like CC James here.

The Greeting Farm is spreading the Love

Happy Friday!! I'm here with a long-ish post :) ...

TGF is spreading the love this Thanksgiving holiday. Jessica and Marie are very thankful and feel blessed for what they have and they wanted to show gratitude with a special Thanksgiving challenge.
The Challenge: Create a card or project with the theme of Thankfulness. You must use a TGF image to play along. Once you enter your card, please send Jessica a private email and nominate a person you might know that is a little down on their luck, struggling financially, etc. Please note that TGF will not share the name of the recipient you nominate - it will be private. Please click here to read the post in full.

My challenge card features Navajo Anya.

Now for our new Farm Fresh Friday challenge of the week..the theme is Twilight/Fairytale. I created a mini box using the new CC Sadie and I colored her up with Bella as a newly hatched vampire in mind (hence the red eyes).
On the inside, I added a Cullen necklace that I bought at Nordstrom along with an ATC featuring Flirty Edward from The Roll Call Kit. I think its a cute little gift for a Twi-Hard don't you think? :)

****

Now for a quickie card. I had this little gal colored up (who originally was slated for Halloween but seeing as that day has come and gone, lol) I decided to use her up for a "spooky birthday" theme card. Lol, I know I'm stretching it on this one but my stash of Kraftin Kimmie Stamps is extremely small and I wanted to play along with their Food/Drink Challenge. All I need to do is type up a Happy Birthday sentiment and I'm done. I'm in need of a good birthday stamp set. Any recommendations?

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you have a great Friday and weekend!

It's a Bean kind of day

Hey all. I here it's going to be a hot hot week so make sure to keep cool. And speaking of Sunshine, there's a new Bean being featured over at the TGF Blog today. Did you know that previews began yesterday for the September release. Yup! they sure did :) So if you want a chance at winning head on over there.

In the meanwhile, I thought I'd give you a recap of the latest two Beans. Just in case you haven't picked them up yet, you can go ahead and add them your cart when you buy up the newest Bean on September 1st,

 Image: Shiny Bean

I created a couple of Birthday cards. I was inspired by my fellow farmer team mate Kelli from her Golden Reto Post. I just love the clean look with the circles and white background.  So I just added my twist with the butterflies and sparkle to make it my own.

How I Store my Images

Hey All. Today was my Showcase Day over at The Greeting Farm. I decided to show you all how I store my stamped images and digis. Grab a cuppa because there's loads of images.

When I started stamping, my crafting space was very tiny so everything needed to be put away or else my area would look like a tornado hit it.  Due to that, when I would get my new stamps I would stamp a couple of images at the same time. I would do the same for my digis, I would print out a whole sheet at a time whether I needed them or not. Well that kind of got out of control and it took me a while to finally find a system that I was happy with.

And here is my system :) I bought a small binder (9.25x7.75) from Staples along with the accompanying dividers and clear sleeves. On the insides of the binder (front and back) it has pockets for you to add little floaters. Be warned that this bulks up but it has helped me keep everything organized.

At the beginning of my binder is my Greeting Farm section. I divided them all up in groups (Anya, Miss Anya, OA, Creepers, ets) To make my envelopes look pretty and to make a dent into the images that I have already stamped and/or colored, I added the image from the group to the accompanying envelope. So as you can see my first envelope holds all my Anyas and Ians and I added one of my faves, Stamping Anya as the cover to the envelope. Before adding some cover images, I had labeled all the envelopes with post-it notes (seen there)  **Note that I'm not finished decorating it all**

My Greeting Farm section

These are shots of some of my other envelopes with images from other companies such as Tickled Pink Stamps and Saturated Canary. Also I added the clear sleeves at the back of the binder. In the sleeves I added bigger images that I had printed out as well as some strays.

Now, I'm finally organized with a bit more space and so I no longer need to print or stamp out excessive images. I now have my image binder on my desk and ready for me to scrap away. And boy do I need to scrap away, I def need to make a dent into that thing because it's starting to bulge out too much. lol

Here is my card created from my madness using the uber new adorable Anya Do Si Do
