Written in Watercolor

Hello All! I'm over on the Quick Creations blog today featuring a watercolor theme card. Since watercolor is all the rage, it was time to use this awesome sentiment stamp set from MFT. It is called "written in watercolor" and the sentiments are meant to be the star of the card. I decided to give the "star" a couple of co-stars in the form of lots of circles. That way they can have a star party together. hehe. As I said, the sentiments are large, versatile and awesome and will also work great on mixed media, scrapbook pages, travelers notebooks, etc.  I hope you found inspiration here today.
Thanks for stopping by!

July Release Preview Day 2: LET'S MINGLE

Hi, I'm back with Day 2 of previews for the JULY Release, which will be available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store on Friday, July 22nd. We have four new sets coming out with their coordinating dies and they all revolve around Christmas time! Eeek, it is officially the midway point and it is time to start creating your cards and making those lists.

Today, we are previewing the set LETS MINGLE, which is all about cutesy mice. When you think of mice you don't necessarily think cute or christmasy but i think Ratatouille changed our minds on that one. For my card, I thought I go for a fun party type card. The mice are jumping all over the place with their cheese, cookies and gifts waiting for santa to drop by.

Now its time to head over to the TGF Blog to see what the rest of the design team created for you. See you tomorrow for day 3. Don't forget we will also be having a New Release Blog Hop were 1 lucky person will win the entire release! Thanks for stopping by!

Believe in Magic

Hi all! I'm on the TGF blog today with a Peter Pan inspired piece. When I saw the mermaids, I knew right away that they would be great for creating this type of scene. The way they are drawn allowed me to place them as if they're just hanging about, enjoying each others company and listening to Pan play his flute.  Since this piece is loosely based on the mermaid scene from that movie, Pan is a fairy and she has no flute ;)

Now unfortunately, the Little Mermaids and Little Fairies sets are currently sold out but they will be back in the store in no time. To make sure that you don't miss out when they are back in stock, hop on over to the TGF Shop and sign up to be notified.

Today, we are previewing the awesome coffee set appropriately named PERK UP! There are a lot of us caffeine people out there so it was time for Marie to put her spin on it. This is a cute small clear set that also has a matching die set (sold separately) which is great if you don't like to fussy cut.  For my card, I was inspired by Starbucks and the season. Have A Magical Day Little Bunny

Hello friends, Happy Monday! I'm here with another project for Quick Creations and this time it features a magical fairy town with a little peeping bunny looking in on them. hehe. I was inspired by the Tinkerbell cartoon movies - where you find lots of fairies, houses and animals. I thought a scene like this called for a wash down watercolor look to help bring it to life.

Springtime Tags

Hello Farm Friends! Today is my day to share on the Greeting Farm blog and I have a project featuring the new spring set - Miss Anya Spring. In case you missed it, this was a special release that happened on the first day of Spring. Aren't they cuties?!! They look ready to have a fun night out at their Spring formal. Click here to check out that post, featuring my prom theme card.

My inspiration for my project came from the idea of Spring - soft, blooming colors. Instead of flowers tho, I chose to represent that with the watercolor look (which, btw, is so in at the moment). You can write directly over the image and the color and still have your writing be legible and your image come through.

Now its your turn to find your inspiration and start creating your.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hush Little Bunny

Hello friends and happy Monday! I'm continuing my gorjuss girl series and today I have this awesome little emo girl with her cute bunny. She has the Burtonesque vibe, don't you think? She was colored up with the Basics Watercolor set from Prima, which posed a challenge for me as I only wanted to use that one set for all my coloring but I managed to make it work :)
These stamp sets are great because they bring the image of the gorjuss girl along with lots of extras, such as hearts, labels, animals etc. Click here to see all the gorjuss girls that Noelle offers in her shop so you can pick some up for you. While there make sure to check out all the new podructs and restocks that are in her shop
Also, this months challenge theme is Anything Goes, which is super easy so make sure you play along for a chance to win a store gift certificate. Click here to go to the challenge blog.

Our Fate Lies Within...

Happy Wednesday! I'm here today to share an altered composition notebook made for school. It features the Sweet Frou Frou greeting farm girl with an empowering quote:

Our fate lies within us.
You only have to be brave enough to see it.
-Brave. Pixar.

This quote was chosen so that it can remind the recipient to always be brave in whatever she does and to not be afraid of the unknown. I'm hoping that seeing the message daily, it'll ingrain itself into her psyche. A wonderful way to start the new school year.

Since today is my day over on the Quick Creations blog/shop make you sure you hop over where you'll find my post along with the materials I used linked to the shop. While there make sure you take a look around as Noelle is currently having a Back to School Sale.
Thanks for stopping by!

Enjoy The Summer

Hello out there! Summer is here!! Wow, it came fast and now it will be loooong days of sunscreen, water and lots of ice cream;)

Today is my day over on the Quick Creations blog/shop. I'm featuring an E. Bell image on my card today, with a water-colored background. The idea behind this was for this little girl to be on a resort somewhere, enjoying her mint chocolate chip ice cream and getting ready to build a sand castle. Hmmmmm, I wish I was on a beautiful resort as well. Most of my supplies can be found at the Quick Creations shop. Make sure you take a look around as Noelle is currently having a Summer Sale.
Happy Shopping and Happy Thursday!
