Sending Squishy Hugs

Hello All! I'm on the Quick Creations blog today sharing some squishy hugs inspiration featuring a disgruntled cat and her owner who can't let go.  I think we have all been this little girl at one point in our lives because we either want to squeeze our pet, a stuffed animal or baby/toddler to our hearts content (in a good way, of course). I was going for a happy and bright card to put a smile on the recipients face, hence the bright colors.

Now make sure to click on over to the Quick Creations blog for more inspiration and to the Quick Creations shop for your own goodies to play with. Noelle has filled the shop with lots of new goaodies from the greeting farm, krafting kimmie, doodlebug, echo park, my favorite things and many other. Also, there is a monthly challenge happening where you can win a store gift certificate. The theme is stars and stripes, which is quite easy.
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Happy Day

Hi farm friends, I'm on the TGF blog with an Oh! so happy day card because for this gal, its a very Happy Day when she’s sipping on her boba. You can say she’s on cloud 9.  Just in case you missed it, this cutie is Carnival from the Secret Stamp Club (No.25) and was just released on the 15th. She comes with a great hatter type hat but I was inspired by my team mate Amy to wipe it away before stamping my paper. That’s all for today, now go and start your weekend off coloring and sipping on boba ;)

Hello Spring

Hi friends, I'm over on the TGF blog  squeezing in with some last minute Spring theme inspiration. In case you didn't know, the tgf monthly challenge is still going on and you have until the 31st to submit your entries. The theme is Swing into Spring and it's quite versatile so go ahead and have some fun using clouds, flowers, umbrellas, colors, critters etc.

I, of course, was inspired by the pink/pastel colors of Spring and used this awesome echo park paper as my starting point. The image is the retired Hatter Bean (who occasionally pops up in the farmers market) and she looks ready for a spring luncheon with her hat full of flowers. I hope this inspires you to get creating this weekend and **if you're feeling a little lost, look at your already colored images and take inspiration from them.
Happy Holiday Weekend!

You Make the World Better...

Happy Monday! I'm back with another bunny project share for Quick Creations and I have to say, its not the last one. Easter has been over for a few weeks now but bunnies are hard to resist, especially the super tiny fuzzy ones. Awwww! These bunnies aren't super tiny or fuzzy but they are super cute and they're part of Stamping Bella stuffies line (where you will find lots of cuties)
My inspiration came from the uber adorable Bunnyville paper used -  the designs, colors and overall feel. I also think this works for the monthly challenge happening on the QC Challenge Blog, which is pastel theme. Noelle is lenient, so go ahead and play along. Now its your turn to find your inspiration and start creating.  Thanks for stopping by!

Springtime Tags

Hello Farm Friends! Today is my day to share on the Greeting Farm blog and I have a project featuring the new spring set - Miss Anya Spring. In case you missed it, this was a special release that happened on the first day of Spring. Aren't they cuties?!! They look ready to have a fun night out at their Spring formal. Click here to check out that post, featuring my prom theme card.

My inspiration for my project came from the idea of Spring - soft, blooming colors. Instead of flowers tho, I chose to represent that with the watercolor look (which, btw, is so in at the moment). You can write directly over the image and the color and still have your writing be legible and your image come through.

Now its your turn to find your inspiration and start creating your.  Thanks for stopping by!

TGF Special Release - Miss Anya Spring

Happy Sunday!! We are back with another special release and this time it features the Miss Anyas. This rubber set is called Miss Anya Spring who are perfect for all sorts of Spring projects. I was inspired by their cute dresses to go for a cheesy prom picture theme. For those of you that went to an American prom, know that backgrounds are either columns, balloons, or sheer curtains and in some cases all of the elements :) but I didn't want to over do it. hehe. So I went with the balloon backdrop and attached "my prom picture" to a paper frame that has the theme/year of the prom.

Now make sure you pop on over to the TGF blog to check out all the farmer inspiration to get you creating this day PLUS, you have the chance to win your own set.
Thanks for stopping by!

You Color My World

Submitting to: TGF Farm Fresh June Challenge

Hello out there! Wow, summer is coming in fast and soon it will be loooong days of sunshine, popsicles, bubbles and bbq - although it's not very different from our year round weather ;)

Today is my day over on the Quick Creations blog/shop. I'm featuring Twirl Anya on my card with a very colorful background. The idea behind this was for it to be a very happy card to be sent to a special someone. Aww, isn't she a cutie with her pixie cut? Most of my supplies can be found at the Quick Creations shop. Make sure you take a look around as Noelle is currently having a Summer Sale.
Happy Shopping and Happy Thursday!

Joining The Pocket Letter Craze

Happy Thursday! It is no longer Big Bang Theory Day but hey, I don't mind repeats.  I'm here today to provide some inspiration for the Quick Creations Blog and Shop. I'm showcasing Garden Anya from The Greeting Farm and Carta Bella/Echo Park paper.

I joined the Pocket Letter craze and created one for you. The concept behind this is to encourage pen pal activity with a few extra goodies along with your letter. The original idea comes from Janette Lane, click HERE for tips and a tutorial. These can be as simple or as elaborate as you like and the contents of the pockets can be changed/switched out as you like. Here's my take:

I used Garden Anya as my main pocket where I will add my pen pal letter. The rest of the pockets hold sequins, planner flags, bows, an about me card, some games and other things. One of my games is a tic-tac-toe card because I thought it would be fun to play an 'Across the Country/Pond Tic Tac Toe' game. It will probably take several months to finish this one game of tic tac toe but that's just something extra to look forward to ;)
That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Quick Creation May Day Hop

Happy Friday! It is the 1st of May and that means it's AVENGERS day. YAY!!!!! Captain America here I come. Heheh :) Today also means that you have a chance to win a gift certificate just by hopping along a few blogs. Noelle, owner of Quick Creations, is hosting a May Day hop to get you inspired to create some flowery and/or Mother's day inspired projects. There will be 2 winners, each will get a $10 gc.

Our theme for the hop is Mother's Day and/or flowers so I went for a flower theme. I kept my card clean and general because I intend to send it off as a Thank You card to someone that was very helpful. This cutie is from The Greeting Farm  who brings her own couch :) along with some sentiments, magazine and lemonade drink. And because the weather has been Summer temperature here, I thought i'd give her some cute sun spots (aka freckles).  Its my first time and I'm hoping that I can recreate them again.

Fantabulous Cricut Guest Spot

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend . This week I am the Fantabulous Monday Guest over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. Shocking, I know. Lol. But I still do use my cricut machine for my shapes and card bases, and the occasional image.

The theme for this week is: Mother/Special Lady using her Favorite Colors. I created this card with my Mum in mind. She loves green so I choose this soft green from an old DCWV stack (name unknown as I tore off the front cover way back when I bought it).  My image comes from Kates ABCs. I just love that cart, I think its the cutest thing ever but I hardly use it. To be honest, the thought of finding the right DP for all those layers puts me off. Lol. So I decided to give the cartridge my flair. I used the Cri-Kits to draw out the image and then I colored it with my Prismacolor pencils. I probably take longer coloring then gluing the layers but this is more me :)

So now its your turn to make your "Mami" her special card. A HUGE Thanks to FCCB for having me as their special Monday Guest. Please hop on over to Fantabulous Cricut to check out all the wonderful cricut creations the DT created and to play along.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello! and Hop Winner

Happy Saturday!  I hope you had a fun week and are enjoying your mid morning so far. I want to apologize for my bloggy silence. I have been quite busy with some personal stuff which has kept me away (nothing bad, all good). However, I managed to squeeze in some crafty time every night. It only took me a week to create this flower power card. Lol.

Today's card features the technique Charcoal, which is black coloring on kraft paper. The highlights are done with white pencil or pen. I learned this technique from a TGF farmer, sorry the name escapes me at the moment. She's amazing with her cards and coloring. I still need to practice this technique some more but for right now I'm very happy with my outcome.

The image used is Lil Lolita Willow digi from Tickled Pink Stamps (**now only found in rubber form**). The image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils.

I will be playing along with:
Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge - #11 Off the Scrap Desk
Getting Cricky with KAndrew - Simply Sunday: All A Flutter
Scrapaholic by Abby - Challenge #1 (Make up your own Holiday on 3/26. My holiday is "Celebrate Flowers and Butterflies")

** Now for the I Love Lucy hop winner... CONGRATS!!! #74 Alexandra from Crafty Baubles
You are the lucky winner of some tasty wine candy :) Please email me your info**

I want to say THANK YOU to all my new scrappy friends. I'm very happy to see that you want to follow my nuttiness. I hope to see you soon again. Actually I hope you do come back because I have some exciting news to share.

Thanks for stopping by!!
As always, I love to read your beautiful comments.
