My First Posting

Hi Everyone!! I never thought I would join the blogging world. I always said it wasn't for me ( I tend to be very private) but I became so enthralled with all the amazing scrapbooking/paper craft blogs out there that I decided to go for it (private issues and all, lol). Plus all the issues/tech difficulties I encountered on a public server where driving me crazy.

So to debut my blog I decided to use a card I created 2 days ago. I cut this dolly at Crop Night at Michael's. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with her so I just made a bunch of cuts to have. I still don't own a cricut but I will be getting one soon. Yay! OK, so after some blog surfing, I came across the Burtonesque Dolls. This blog is all about Tim Burton. He's an amazingly creative man. So what better way to be inspired by for my first blogging post and crafting project.

I'm entering this card in three challenges:

The Burtonesques Dolls - Create a project inspired by The Corpse Bride.

Oh, Alice! - Use swirls.

Pixie Dust Studio - Use something round (buttons, brads, etc).

I feel nervous and excited at the same time. I'm excited because I'll finally get to participate in a challenge but I'm also nervous because it is my first time that I do. And this is the first card I create. I hope it's good enough to stand against all the other amazing projects and cards out there. Thanks!! PS. Happy Memorial Day.
