Ok, so lets get started. My first card features A Random Fan. The cutie I used for my card is called Winter Kisses. She is just super adorable.  When I saw this I knew I needed it because my niece is really into cutesy reindeer. She has had her pet reindeer for 8 years now and he's not to be touched. So every year at this time, she shops around hoping to find her pet a companion.  I decided to create this one a shaker card to give it a slight snow globe effect. I didn't want it to be obvious but just a hint at it.

My second card features a Greeting Farm Dollie character. She is the latest of the Dollie line and is intended for Christmas/Holiday cards but I decided to rebel (lol) and use her for a Birthday card. I just wanted to show you that you don't necessarily have to use your stamps the way they are originally intended for. She works great both ways and I'm certain I can use her for other type of cards as well (just a little altering would be needed).

Winter Greetings

Today it's my day on the Quick Creations blog showcasing some Lawn Fawn goodness. This company is super adorable and i just adore all of their products.  My favorite winter line was the SNOW DAY collection which is shown here. Who can resist those bunnies. I couldn't and because of that I couldn't bring myself to cut up the paper so I decided to create a 5x5 spiral notebook. It will be great for all my notes for the season and afterwards. On the inside I added the little lovey dovey couple as a minor embellishment. All I need left is to add my name, if I so choose to.

I also decided to create a few winter/christmas cards using my Lawn Fawn scraps and their dies. The girls are from a greeting farm retired set (Miss Anya Scarves) but I have provided alternates below. Today is a gloomy day, getting ready for our big day of rain tomorrow (YAY!) so that means Ill get to "check out" for the next few days. I hope your Thursday is a good one :)

Have fun shopping! Thanks for stopping by.

But since I can't, due to no snow and fear (lol) ill just imagine it :). He's great for your christmas cards so make sure to add him to your shopping list this weekend.

Life's no fun without a good Scare ...

... but who can be scared by this Swiss Pixie cutie. This little gal is "Franken-Lucy" a C,C. stamp that can be found in the Quick Creations Shop. She's great for Halloween projects and with a little altering, she'll work on her own. I wanted to make her a little whimsy so I made her arms and legs movable. I was inspired by the paper dolls from before. That is all for today. This Wednesday looks like it is going to shape up to be a proper Fall day. Its nice and cool and i dont think were going to go past the high 70s today. Yay! :)

Happy Wednesday!

Is it really Fall?

Hi All. I'm very excited to announce that I am a design member of the Quick Creations online shop.
It is an amazing small shop that carries plenty of crafting essentials and cuteness (ie: Lawn Fawn, The Greeting Farm, Stamping Bella, Tiddly Inks to name a few).  You'll get excellent customer service from the owner Noelle. The prices and shipping are awesome, which means you'll have extra money for more crafting goodies :) .

Ok so I created two fall theme cards. It has been extra hard for me to think of it as a fall here as its been 80-90 degree almost daily. Its rare when we have a nice cool day. I am really hoping that the end of October changes it all. Both cards feature the adorable Lawn Fawn company. They have seriously become my new favorite company.

A "Flowers and a Card" combo

Hi! I'm quickly sharing a mothers Day "card and flower bouquet" in one I created featuring big Anya. My sister isn't a fan of real flowers but ironically she likes paper ones so this was great for her.

I'll be playing along with the Greeting Farm "Mothers Day" challenge.

The Cringeworthy Ramblings of a...

Happy Sunday! When I first began crafting, I got into because of scrapbooking but soon after I switched over to card making (as I found it less daunting). But now after a few years of doing that and finally finding my voice when it comes to cards, I thought it was time to go back and start from the beginning. So here is my attempt to return to scrapbooking. When I organized my pictures and memorabilia, I found my old diary of when I was 14. I thought of tossing it because truth be told it is extremely embarrassing. I wrote down silly stuff such as what I wore and how my day dragged on (which I suppose is a normal teenage girl diary) but I also wrote down about how much "I Loved" my 9th grade boyfriend. Wow! I thought our love was never ending and the way I expressed myself, Yikes. Lol.  So here it is, a piece of me at 14.
Ps I was soooooo into Keropi at that time. hehe.

Sending Some Sunshine

Hello!! I know It's been a loooong time so nobody may be out there but nevertheless I wanted to share a few cards I made to send out. I know the polar vortex has been affecting many but I've been fortunate to not have it affect me much here. I've had sunshine and I wanted to send some warm, sunny thoughts out.

The images used are O&A set from The Greeting Farm.
I'll be playing with the Layers challenge over at the farm.
