Farm Fresh Challenge: A Touch of Red

Happy February 1st, actually Feb 1st Eve ;)
I am here today to bring you some  farmer inspiration.  So here we go... Its the beginning of the month therefore it's time for a new challenge to begin. Our theme is... A Touch of Red. This is the perfect time to create valentine cards, friendship projects or really anything. You can use an oldie stamp or a new one (like I did). I created a friendship-maybe valentine theme card. I left it open to interpretation to show you that even though our theme is red and were in the month of love, it doesn't have to be only valentine.
Now its your turn. Here are a few simple guidelines to play along with us:

– Entries must be uploaded via InLinkz (below) no later than FEBRUARY 29th at 12:00PM (noon) CST. Maximum 2 entries per person. (If the InLinkz tool is missing, feel free to link your submission URL in the comment section.)
– You must use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image. Images must be hand-colored.
– The fabulous prize: A $50 Gift Certificate to The Greeting Farm Store!!
You have two weeks to email Rosemary (rosemary@thegreetingfarm.com) to claim your prize, otherwise prize is forfeited
Be sure to enter new creations only…No Backlinking please!

Ps. Make sure to click over to the TGF blog to see what the rest of the farmers created for you and be inspired by them. Thanks!

Have an Eggstra Special Day

Hello Farm Friends! Today is my first post as a full-fledged farmer on The Greeting Farm blog. Today, I have a project featuring the new set Eggstra Special that was released on the 15th. For previews day, I created paper clips with the adorable bunnies and chick and so I thought I would take it in a different direction by creating a mini watercolor creation/card. As you know, I'm a Prismacolor girl and so pencil is my choice of medium but I felt as if these bunnies and chicks needed to be water colored, make them look as if they were having fun. I wanted to showcase the complete stamp set in a fun and colorful way and thus this came about.

Also, I just realized that Easter is going to be in March and therefore it's time to start creating those adorable Easter cards. But even though this stamp set was created with Easter in mind, I think it can go beyond that because the bunnies, chick and flowers can be used for spring, mother's day and all sorts of projects (all you need to do is omit the sentiments and eggs).  Oh and don't forget, this months greeting farm challenge is "anything goes" and so its super easy to play along with.
Thanks for stopping by!

Ready, Set, Snow...from Los Angeles?

Hello friends! I'm back with another project for Quick Creations that features an awesome Lawn Fawn holiday stamp set. The set was was created for Christmas (as it has a couple of flying reindeer and Christmas trees) but I didn't let that stop me. I chose to go a bit ironic and cutesy with it and make a winter card featuring Los Angeles. Yes we are in winter season and it is a bit cold but we still have plenty of sunshine to make up for it. A typical winter day here is somewhere in the 70s even in the 80s at times and that means, no snow for us.

Click here to see the Lawn Fawn products that Noelle offers in her shop so you can pick some up for you. She also has a Sale/Clearance section as well as a New Items and Pre-Orders happening in the QC Shop.

There is also a monthly challenge happening on the QC Blog and the theme is Shaker Cards, which are fun to make and give as gifts. Who doesn't love a little sparkle and sound in their cards. If you play along, you'll have a chance to win a store gift certificate. Click here to go to the challenge blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

It's Time for a Coffee Date

Hello friends! I'm continuing my other running series for Quick Creations that features Ian from The Greeting Farm. Today I have this cute young banker/hipster, Cafe Ian who by day, he reports to the office with a flair of fun fashion and by night he lets loose with his awesome pink hair. He even travels with his own mug, hehe. (ps, the kitty was drawn by me)

These stamps are great because they can be versatile so today, he's a banker getting ready for his coffe date but tomorrow he can be a dude just hanging out. Click here to see the Ians that Noelle offers in her shop so you can pick some up for you.

Hello friends! I'm continuing my gorjuss girl series for Quick Creations and today I have this cute little girl that's a little reminiscent of a Florence nightingale or a school girl :) I  believe she was created to be used for winter theme cards but I changed it up and gave her some fun bright colors to make her look like's she's ready for a party.

These stamp sets are great because they bring the image of the gorjuss girl along with lots of extras, such as hearts, labels, animals etc. Click here to see all the gorjuss girls that Noelle offers in her shop so you can pick some up for you. She also has a Sale/Clearance section as well as a New Items and Pre-Orders happening in the QC Shop.

January Release Preview Day 3 - EGGSTRA SPECIAL

Happy Wednesday! We are on our 3rd and final day of Previews for our JANUARY Release, which will be available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store on Friday, January 15th. Don’t forget, we will have a New Release Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will win this entire release!!

Today, we are previewing this adorable set called EGGSTRA SPECIAL! This set is full of Easter goodness such as bunnies-chicks-eggs-etc. The set also has a matching die set (sold seperately) but is great if you don't like to fussy cut.

I decided to make a set of planner/paper clips. Its much too soon for me to think of Easter :) but you can't go wrong with having bunny and chick accessories in your life :) wouldn't have been able to make these bookmarks without the dies (as that made it easy to line up everything). So if this is something you want to make, don't forget to purchase the matching die set.

Now its time to head over to the TGF Blog to see what the rest of the design team created for you.
Thanks for stopping by!

January Release Preview Day 2 - DOLLIE WITH LETTER

Happy Tuesday! We are on our 2nd day of Previews for our JANUARY Release, which will be available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store on Friday, January 15th. Don’t forget, we will have a New Release Blog Hop on the 15th where 1 lucky person will win this entire release!!

Today, we are previewing this cute Dollie with Letter! She looks so cute and romantic reading her letter. This set is full Dollie goodness that can work for Valentine as well as other non-holiday projects. This set comes with several sentiments as well as some extra small stamps such as an envelope and the flower/heart seen on the bag.

I created some packaging with this Dollie, using red as my main hue. I stamped the flower heart all over the small muslin bag using memento ink (if you try this, make sure to insert a piece of cardstock into the bag to provide stability). I stamped her on a tag, using the same red ink and did some light coloring with my pencils. I really like this monochromatic look, its something different. I finished it off by stamping the "hello, to/from" sentiments and attaching a homemade tassel. This is perfect to surprise someone with a few crafty goodies or small gift.

Now its time to head over to the TGF Blog to see what the rest of the design team created for you.
Thanks for stopping by!

January Release Preview Day 1 - MAGICAL FRIENDS

Happy Monday and Happy first day of Previews. Today we start showcasing our JANUARY Release, which will be available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store on Friday, January 15th. We will also be having a New Release Blog Hop on the 15th were 1 lucky person will win the entire release!

Today, we are previewing this adorable and magical set called MAGICAL FRIENDS! This set is full of cuteness with unicorns, sentiments and hearts and stars. This set also has a matching die set (sold separately) which is great if you don't like to fussy cut.

When I first saw this set, it reminded me of My Little Pony and I knew I wanted to create some accessories to carry with me. And here they are, a set of magnetic bookmarks. They're the perfect size, they're not bulky and they're super cute. I wouldn't have been able to make these bookmarks without the dies (as that made it easy to line up everything). So if this is something you want to make, don't forget to purchase the matching die set.

Now its time to head over to the TGF Blog to see what the rest of the design team created for you.
