S'more Fun with You

Hi friends! I'm here today to show you the Lawn Fawn cuteness that I'm sharing on the Quick Creations Blog. Since camping season is upon us, what better way to invite a friend on a trip than with a card that says, "Hi friend! Join me in the woods where we will sleep on rocks, twigs and dirt while we fend off mosquitoes and roaming hungry bears. But worry not, because we will have a fire were we will sing songs, eat s'mores, stare at the stars and scare ourselves half to death with stories of a masked lunatic that wields an ax and has a thirst for killing. Oh and fyi, nature is our bathroom."
Who knew that these happy little s'mores had all that to say. hehehe.

The products used on this card are all Lawn Fawn. Unfortunately this stamp set is currently sold out at the Quick Creations Store, but you can find other great lawn fawn stamp sets that will perfect for any of your projects. Thanks for stopping by!

TGF Guest Designer: Week 4

Hi friends! I'm back with a new project featuring the cute new TGF critters. Sadly this will be my last post as their guest designer for the month but I'll still be around playing with their stamp.

Remember last weeks tag? Today I bring you the rest of the project that goes with it. Since I recently jumped on the Pocket Letter craze I created a second one, this one, using all the critters. To see my first pocket letter click here. The concept behind this idea is to encourage pen pal activity between old friends, new friends, crafty friends, all sorts of friends :) These can be as simple or as elaborate as you like and the contents of the pockets can be changed around.

I used most of my critters to decorate my main pocket where I will add my pen pal letter. The rest of the pockets hold sequins, planner flags, bows, an about me card, some games and other things. One of my games is a tic-tac-toe card because I thought it would be fun to play an 'Across the Country/Pond Tic Tac Toe' game with Jess. It will probably take several months to finish this one game of tic tac toe but that's just something extra to look forward to ;)

Thank you Greeting Farm for allowing me to be your guest designer. Thanks for stopping by!

TGF Guest Designer: Week 3

Hi friends, I'm back with a new project featuring the cute new TGF critters that were released earlier this month. Today, I bring you a set of tags. These tags can be used in different ways, such as birthday tags, name tags and/or to write a little note. As you see, I used one of them to create a mail tag - which is part of my project for my last week as a guest designer. Click here to see last weeks post where I used the deer for a birthday tag.

These critte are great for projects like these because you get a good amount of images to choose from. The sets featured are 'Hoppy Hello', 'Wood Friends' and 'Cuddly Thanks'. You can click on over to the greeting farm blog to check out my post along with other tips and tutorials.

Sunday Crafting Time

Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend was a good one. On Sundays, I like to take some time to do a little creating/crafting (most of the time, I make it my Scrapbooking time) so here I am to share one of my 'Currently' Scrapbook Pages. I've mentioned before that this is my project life for me. I'm still playing catch up with my album so my pages that I share most likely wont be in chronological order. Today's page is about one of my 'not so good' Sundays so I used all lawn fawn product to add cheeriness and color to my page.  Although I wrote about what was ailing me on my page, I also wrote some good stuff.
That's all for now. See you back here tomorrow with another guest post for The Greeting Farm :)
Thanks for stopping by

Joining The Pocket Letter Craze

Happy Thursday! It is no longer Big Bang Theory Day but hey, I don't mind repeats.  I'm here today to provide some inspiration for the Quick Creations Blog and Shop. I'm showcasing Garden Anya from The Greeting Farm and Carta Bella/Echo Park paper.

I joined the Pocket Letter craze and created one for you. The concept behind this is to encourage pen pal activity with a few extra goodies along with your letter. The original idea comes from Janette Lane, click HERE for tips and a tutorial. These can be as simple or as elaborate as you like and the contents of the pockets can be changed/switched out as you like. Here's my take:

I used Garden Anya as my main pocket where I will add my pen pal letter. The rest of the pockets hold sequins, planner flags, bows, an about me card, some games and other things. One of my games is a tic-tac-toe card because I thought it would be fun to play an 'Across the Country/Pond Tic Tac Toe' game. TGF May Release Blog Hop

Happy Friday everyone! The Greeting Farm has been showcasing their new May Release of some adorable clear stamps sets on the TGF Blog for the last 2 days. These new clear stamps are NOW available in The Greeting Farm Store. Today they are back showcasing the last 2 sets of clear stamps along with an amazing BLOG HOP. They also have some guest designers joining in, me being one of them. Yay!

The last 2 clear stamps sets being featured on the TGF Blog are BEARY CUTE and WOOD FRIENDS. And because it’s release day, The Greeting Farm is having a BLOG HOP. This time around The Greeting Farm are going to pick two winners and each person will receive 3 clear stamp sets from this new release!

The stamp set I used on my card is 'Wood Friends'. I made it a love theme card aiming for the theme, 'Love sees no boundaries' I was hoping to achieve that by making the squirrel and deer a couple. hehe. But as I kept looking at the scene/image, I thought that it can also be a parent/child relationship. In the end tho, my aim was for it to convey Love and I believe i got there :)

Make sure to leave a comment on all the blogs listed below before 12pm CST on Monday, May 11th. The winners will be announced on May 12th by The Greeting Farm.

TGF May Release: Day 2

Hi there! Today is preview day 2 over at The Greeting Farm and I'm very happy to partake in it. Today's preview includes 'Hoppy Hello' and 'Cuddly Thanks'. All sets are sooo cute but this fox may be my favorite, although I may change my mind tomorrow :).

I combined both stamp sets on this card. The fox, tree stump and sentiment comes from 'Cuddly Thanks', whereas the butterflies and grass comes from 'Hoppy Hello'.  My original plan for this cutie was to be colored with markers but after 3 attempts, I decided that it wasn't going to work for me :/ So I kept the vellum but I painted him with acrylic paints. This also allowed me to flip his position.
Make sure you hop on over to the TGF blog to check out what the farmers have to show you and make sure you come back tomorrow as it will be the 'release day blog hop' where you'll get the opportunity to win some of the stamp sets. WooHoo! Thanks for stopping by.

TGF Guest Designer: Tip Me Tuesday with Prismacolor Pencils

Hi there! I'm excited to say that I'm back at The Greeting Farm for May. I'll be their guest designer for the month and Ill get to play with their upcoming new release along with my favorites. Hop on over to the TGF blog to check out my post and see what else they have for you.

For my first post, I wanted to keep on with the Tip Me Tuesday post where the farmers show you their favorite copic color combos but I'm doing it with a little twist. I am a Prismacolor Pencil girl so you'll get to see how I work :) I listed the colors in the order that I used them so for those of you that are pencil girls and/or practicing can give it a try. I laid down my colors twice and I did not use any mineral spirits/gamsol.  I used one of the creepers from the 2nd Creeper Kit that was released in 2013ish.  I think the creepers are perfect for crazy hair colors and they have been privy to my hair experimentation :) Let me know if you're interested in seeing any other color combos.
If you're interested in getting this Stamp Kit, I've linked it below. Thanks!

Into the Woods

Hi there! Just popping in here quickly to share a woods themed baby card I created as an inspiration piece for the QC monthly challenge. I used these adorable lawn fawn critters to show you that you can use your stamps in all sorts of manner. This card doesn't necessarily scream 'Congrats on your pregnancy and/or baby' but that's what I like about it... It's something neutral and can be used at a moments notice.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Quick Creation May Day Hop

Happy Friday! It is the 1st of May and that means it's AVENGERS day. YAY!!!!! Captain America here I come. Heheh :) Today also means that you have a chance to win a gift certificate just by hopping along a few blogs. Noelle, owner of Quick Creations, is hosting a May Day hop to get you inspired to create some flowery and/or Mother's day inspired projects. There will be 2 winners, each will get a $10 gc.

Our theme for the hop is Mother's Day and/or flowers so I went for a flower theme. I kept my card clean and general because I intend to send it off as a Thank You card to someone that was very helpful. This cutie is from The Greeting Farm  who brings her own couch :) along with some sentiments, magazine and lemonade drink. And because the weather has been Summer temperature here, I thought i'd give her some cute sun spots (aka freckles).  Its my first time and I'm hoping that I can recreate them again.
