Farm Fresh Challenge: All About the Boys

Happy June 1st! It's that time again to bring you some farmer inspiration for the new farmer monthly challenge. The theme is... All About Boys.  It's the month to celebrate the dads in our lives but we wanted to keep it easy and make it boy theme.  I was inspired by the latest Oliver that was released last month. He looks super cute with his grilling spatula ready for ribs, hamburgers and all the delicious bbq items.

Now its your turn to go find your inspiration.  Make sure to click over to the TGF blog to see what the rest of the farmers created for you. You will also find the guidelines there so you can play along with us.

It's Time for a Coffee Date

Hello friends! I'm continuing my other running series for Quick Creations that features Ian from The Greeting Farm. Today I have this cute young banker/hipster, Cafe Ian who by day, he reports to the office with a flair of fun fashion and by night he lets loose with his awesome pink hair. He even travels with his own mug, hehe. (ps, the kitty was drawn by me)

These stamps are great because they can be versatile so today, he's a banker getting ready for his coffe date but tomorrow he can be a dude just hanging out. Click here to see the Ians that Noelle offers in her shop so you can pick some up for you. She also has a Sale/Clearance section as well as a New Items and Pre-Orders happening in the QC Shop.

There is also a monthly challenge happening on the QC Blog and the theme is Shaker Cards, which are fun to make and give as gifts. Who doesn't love a little sparkle and sound in their cards. If you play along, you'll have a chance to win a store gift certificate. Click here to go to the challenge blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh boy! Ian

Hello and Happy Day to you! I hope your weekend was a great one. Mine was full of cool weather and gave us a respite from the sun but its looking that nice weather inst going to last. There is humidity in the air and that is not fun. Moving on :) My greeting farm series is coming to a close over at Quick Creations and so here is my final project featuring Ian.

The last few days have been spent at the beach, the air there is much fresher and cooler than city air and so that inspired this gift bag. I know that it doesn't look like a summer/beach theme item but I went with the colors (blues and green for the water and kraft for the sand) to evoke that feeling. These upcoming days are going to be grueling hot again and so I need keep that feeling present :).
Now its your turn to get crafty. Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Wishes

The Greeting Farm Blog - Summertime Challenge

Hello and Happy Day to you! I hope your weekend was a great one. Mine was full of sun, sun, a sweet boys birthday party and more sun. The weather has been out of control lately and Im hoping this week brings on some cool days. I'm continuing The Greeting Farm Series that is happening over at Quick Creations. Noelle is promoting several stamp companies and I got The Greeting Farm, woohoo! My character is Ian, so for the next few QC posts, its going to be all about him with some Anya thrown in the mix.

My previous Ian post had Ian and Anya going to a royal summer ball. Now, Ian is going to a summer party. This card was made for a sweet little 4 year old that just celebrated over the weekend. He loves cupcakes (of course), marvel (because he knows whats good for him) and being cute all around ;) This birthday Ian, although intended for birthdays, can also be used for other type of projects. I just think a little altering can be done or just left as is. I hope this inspires you to get crafty. Thanks for stopping by.

My Think Pink RAK

Hello Everyone. Sorry Ive been away. I felt disappointed earlier this week and my energy to create or blog surf was drained. It did affect me a bit but it was time to move on. I wanted to finish this project that I had began a couple of days back. These are all Pink cards that are being sent to women that are battling breast cancer. Theresa from The Scrapbooking Queen is having a Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge and she is collecting cards to give to a Women's Center from her community. I created in total 9 cards. I would have liked to have done more but I don't think I would have finished on time. As Is I think I'm already late on the deadline.

Picture 1: This is a shot of all them.
Below are closeups of some

I am also entering this in Robyn's Pink Stamper challenges. She had a fun filled week countdown to Karlee's arrival. Everyday she had a different challenges.
Day 1: Create/Make someting to giveaway (The whole set of cards)
Day 2: Create something Cute (I defenetly think that Hello Kitty falls in that category)
Day 3: Create a Halloween/Fall project (Used Mini Monsters and also Breast Cancer Awareness Month falls in Fall. Granted we should always be aware of this but this is the month that pays tribute to it.)
Day 4: Make something to give as a RAK

Thanks for stopping by/commenting.
