TGF Special Release: New Magical Friends Join the Cast

Happy Sunday!! We are back with another special release - this time we have 3 new magical friends joining the cast. They're a follow up to the Magical Friends release from the beginning of the year. Those adorable unicorns and ponies were very much loved and requested that we now have Hello Unicorn, Magical Day and Your Wings join the Magical Friends crew.

I created a little happy home decor piece using the cute unicorn and ponies along with their matching dies. This sentiment was a freebie from Amy Tangerines, found here. Now make sure you pop on over to the TGF blog to check out all the farmer inspiration to get you creating this day. PLUS, today is a good because if you leave a comment on the tgf blog then you'll have the chance to win your very own Magical Friend. There will be one winner for each clear stamp. Winners will be announced next week on the tgf blog.
Thanks for stopping by!

Have a Happy Day

Happy Friday! Wow, we are nearing the end of the month and soon it will be May which means our nice "spring-like" days will be coming to an end as well. Today is my day to share over on the Quick Creations blog and I have a project featuring the new clear stamp - For You Anya, who is a special release from last Friday. Isn't she a cutie with her mid drift and popsicle. She's ready to get summer started. A coordinating die (sold separately) was also released for those of us that prefer not fussy cutting.

My inspiration for this card came from her outfit, paper and impending time of change so why not run with the whole under the water theme. I love that this paper line used super non-traditional colors. Now its your turn to find your inspiration and start creating your own  project.  Thanks for stopping by!

Let's Plan with TGF

Hi friends, today is my day on The Greeting Farm blog and I'm there sharing a planner project. I know the planner craze is currently happening everywhere and  there are many different stamp sets, planners, paper etc to choose from and use but I wanted to show you that you can use your lovable greeting farm images as well. They weren't necessarily made for planners but why let that stop me or you?  As far as planners go, I use a Moleskin one and if you aren't familiar with planners (or that brand) then they are look like a journal (see in the picture), they are hardbound, they have no rings and therefore I can not insert extra pages to it. Additionally, moleskin planners do not bring a monthly overview calendar every 4-5 weeks so I decided to create my own.

** Just an fyi, this project is still currently a work in progress. My goal was to finish earlier this year but I just kind of went with the flow and used them as you see them here. They aren't even labeled with their month. However, I will continue to color them and work on them every chance I get. **

I browsed the greeting farm images and chose those that would represent that month for me. I then cropped them, angled them - pretty much played around with the look of the image and calendar until I was happy with it. Now, I have monthly overview calendar sheets that I can adhere to my planner. And if you remember, this isn't the first time I have used greeting farm images to create planner items. At the beginning of the year I created magnetic bookmarks and paper clips using the January release. There's also a sneak peek of stickers I created using the new mini clear sets.

Ps. If you create your own calendar, keep your coloring light. This way you don't have a hard time with the day/dates.

You Make the World Better...

Happy Monday! I'm back with another bunny project share for Quick Creations and I have to say, its not the last one. Easter has been over for a few weeks now but bunnies are hard to resist, especially the super tiny fuzzy ones. Awwww! These bunnies aren't super tiny or fuzzy but they are super cute and they're part of Stamping Bella stuffies line (where you will find lots of cuties)
My inspiration came from the uber adorable Bunnyville paper used -  the designs, colors and overall feel. I also think this works for the monthly challenge happening on the QC Challenge Blog, which is pastel theme. Noelle is lenient, so go ahead and play along. Now its your turn to find your inspiration and start creating.  Thanks for stopping by!

Have A Magical Day Little Bunny

Hello friends, Happy Monday! I'm here with another project for Quick Creations and this time it features a magical fairy town with a little peeping bunny looking in on them. hehe. I was inspired by the Tinkerbell cartoon movies - where you find lots of fairies, houses and animals. I thought a scene like this called for a wash down watercolor look to help bring it to life.
