Where Is My Head?

Happy Halloween!!! Hope you have loads of candy today. Im here quickly sharing my card for the cool head swap challenge over at the Greeting Farm. I thouhgt it would be fun to give my guy a couple of options. He can change hair color and head at a whim. lol. My sentiment is perfect for this card, "I forgot your Birthday! Where is my head?" I kept it extremely clean just so the focus is entirely on the interaction of it. I may go back and add some pattern paper however, that's still in question.

Helloooooooo .......

Hi Scrappy Friends! I'm hoping some of you are still out there. I'm currently on hiatus and I'm hoping to come back soon but I thought I would import my blog over to bloglvin before I lost everything. I did manage to import my reader feed so I should be able to keep up with your posts. I didn't however manage to import my blog and I don't even know if I have to so for the time being, I don't have a widget for you to follow me on bloglovin. I'll try to get that updated as soon as I can.

And just so this wont be a completely boring post (lol) I thought I would share the one scrapbook page I created in this 6 month period. Bungee Jumping is marked off my bucket list, I was scared...reeeeeally scared but I did it! :)

Happy last day of June!!

Going a bit Irish...

I think St Pattys Day is a real fun day but I wasn't sure what to do with an actual 'holiday' card so I cheated a bit and just used green. So here's my take... this little cutie, WS Audrey from the Greeting Farm, is sticking out her tongue because booze tastes yucky to her. Lol.
Happy Thursday and Thanks for stopping by!

"Sweet Hello" Mini Card Set

Here is my last post featuring the color combo Stone, Buttercream and Denim. Originally my mini lollis were just random circles on a card but I didn't like the look of it so I tore them off. I knew I wanted to make a gift of some form with them so I went with a card set. I'm going to make 3 more but use a 'Thank You' sentiment instead of the 'Hello' one so there's some variety. I know my friend will love them because she's always in need of mini cards and she loves twinery twine.

So this is it for now. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!

Handheld Windmill Card

Here is my 2nd post featuring the color combo Grey, Yellow and Blue. I know that the whole windmill thing is probably done and over with but I decided to still come to the party, albeit waaaaaay late. Lol.  Actually I was inspired to create this when I saw that Michael's is selling 4 miniature ones for $3. I said to myself, I can do that. I definitely have plenty of paper to play with so why not give it a whirl. Any-hoo, I like it. It's a focal point and my wrist takes a break from coloring.

Graphicat Sketch #21: Bazinga

Happy Monday! Today begins a new challenge over at Graphicat Designs and I have for you a *Smash page. I got on board with the whole *Smash craze last year. I thought it was a great idea to get back to some form of scrapbooking without the pressure of creating fancy layouts. Sadly for me, I did as much as buying the book with very few accessories and that was it. Lol.  So now, this year I want to refocus on other things aside from cards and *smashing and scrapbooking is one of them. I really want to try to record my memories, thoughts (both bad and good) and starting on a small scale will get me there.

Ok so I created a page in honor of my favorite tv show, The Big Bang Theory. I slightly tilted the sketch and used the Bazinga sentiment from Cheri's shop. I found this awesome AC ribbon in my stash that was perfect for this. Because lets get serious, you cant think of the big bang theory without thinking of comic books and sexy nerds. hehe

Thanks for stopping by!

Caution... Anti-Valentine

Happy Friday!! It is going to be gorgeous today, up into the late 70s, a great start to the fun and busy weekend that's going to happen.

Ok so it 's Feb.1st and Valentine is around the corner. Oh not a fan of V-day you say, well neither is my little grumpy ballerina. Lol. These are some fun new anti-valentine sentiments from Graphicat Designs. The sentiment here is Caution, I Dont Do Vday.

My second card is my sample for the current Graphicat sketch (#20). You still have time to play along and if you do, you'll receive the girl digi, Prisoner of Love as a freebie. Cheri is giving it away to all participants. She looks a little pathetic but that's whats so great about her. Lol. The sentiment on this card is Happy Unimaginative Day.

Well that's it for me. Have an amazing Friday. Thanks for stopping by!

Yesterday I gave a peek of a few cards Ive been working on. Today I have a couple of birthday cards. I'm all about using up all my paper to try to avoid having scraps. I managed to use 4 sheets of 6x6 for both cards, although it was a bit difficult afterwards but I had very little to toss. So yay! for that. My first card features Anya Lifts with the sentiment from Anya Celebrates.

Baby Fairy Love

Happy Wednesday! We are half way through the week and almost done with the first month of the year. OMG!!! Lol. Today I have a Love theme card featuring one of the adorable baby fairies from Mo Manning. He is uber adorable and makes me want a baby the looks like him. One day, one day :)

I hope that I don't bore you with this paper as I'm using it all up. Lol. I just love the look of it. I love the subtle tones with the mixture of nature and handwriting.

Fancy Chocolate Holder

First off... Let me apologize for the quality of the photos.  I was too busy out enjoying our weather, 79 degrees thank you very much lol, that I didn't make it home on time to have nice sun-lit pictures. They'll be replaced tomorrow. EDITED to add newly taken pictures.

(back)

(Space for greeting)

(Where chocolate slides out)

So yes, Happy Sunday!!! I'm excited that tomorrow is a holiday as I'm still trying to fight off my cold. I'm hoping that some rest and a good dose of sun from tomorrow will finally be the end of this cold. Fingers crossed.

I have another fancy chocolate holder for you. I made one last year for Halloween and my friend loved it sooo much I thought I would make her another one. Although after seeing how this one turned out I'm debating on wether to keep it or not. You know when you make something that you're really proud off and you want to make it one of your to keep pieces. I don't have many of those, I think I have about 2 that I cant seem to part with so if I do keep this one, well then that make #3. I guess that's not bad considering if we keep everything we make then it'll be never ending. Lol.

Ok so for this one, I changed it up slightly. I changed the layout of my attachment, changed out the chocolate (used a special one I got from San Francisco) added flowers, embellishments and I also added dp to the back. Plus I used some extremely awesome kraft paper that sadly I only have 2 sheets of. It's a no name brand I picked up a while back and I still can't find paper that is equally sturdy and nice looking.

Side Note** If you ever plan on making one of these, make sure you use extremely sturdy card stock and reinforce it from all sides. Oh and you must use great sticky tape, be it red tape or score tape or something equally good.

OK Ladies enjoy the rest of your Sunday. As for me, I'm off to LAX but I'll be back tomorrow with a new Graphicat project and to play blog catch up.

Thanks for stopping by!!
