You're Late for Teaaaaaaaaa

Well actually I am. Boy, am I late. This card begun in late Septemeber and am now finishing it up. See I told you I was late. Lol!! The one upside is that the special Mad Hatter Lady I made this for won't see it coming. Well actually she didnt know it was being made for her so she'll be double surprised. I'm thinking Ill send along some delicious peppermint tea. Mmmmmmmm! I think Ill go make myself a cuppa' :)

I used the awesome Mad Hatter Lad Damon from Tickled Pink Stamps for my image. My title comes from one of my fave scenes from Burton's version of Alice in Wonderland. I watched the scene several times to find a good sentiment for my card but also because the hare rabbit is just to freaking funny with his antics. How could I not hit replay?! Lol.

I will be playing with:
Tickled Pink Stamps - #47 Hand Written Sentiment. Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes. The Pink Elephant - Photo Inspired (the green hat). Bearly Mine Challenge - Favorite Things (Tickled Pink Images, Prismacolor Pencils, Alice in Wonderland).
Thanks for stopping by!

Sentiment: "Besties for Life" set, Crafty Sprouts

Happy Black Friday!! I hope you had a delicious Thanksgiving and are ready to brave the madness of this glorious shopping day. I, for one, am planning on staying away (Maybe lol) but we will see how the day goes. :)
So today begins a new challenge at Crafty Sprouts. We have another easy one for you, at least I like to think so :) Create a Tag or use a Tag somewhere on your project. I love Tags because they can be used for a variety of things. They can be used as bookmarks (which I love to use as), accents to cards and projects (as seen here) and of course for gift purposes. Obviously there are more things that you can use a Tag for but my brain is still feeling a little logy from the Turkey. Lol. OK so I cant wait to see what your creative hands create. Click HERE to see all the awesome Tags created by my DT Sisters and don't forget to leave them some bloggy love as well.

I will be playing with: FFC - Spy Day Tag. SOG Challenge - Recipe Challenge. Simon Says Stamp - Tag You're It!

Ps. Don't forget about the brand new sets that were previewed last week. We have a set for Vampire/Twilight Fans, Babies and Bringing Smiles to Friends and those that are Feeling Icky. Click Here to go to the Crafty Sprouts Shop.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Sunday Night! I'm here tonight rushing to make the deadline for the Get Odd Guest Call. I'd love to be considered for this Odd Girl spot because Kristy's images are super cute and fun to work with.  I used one of my fave characters and placed her in a photoboth picture strip. I just love her happy face and that she's dancing all over the place. This is the reason why she's dodging in and out of the photo booth, she just cant seem to stay still. Lol.

Hi Scrappy Friends. We are here today to share FOUR new sets of Crafty Sprouts sentiments. These are Awesome!!! There's a little bit of everything for all your crafting needs. Today we are previewing 2 sets.

Ok so let's get started :) You should be hoping over from the Amazing Zeni, if not make sure you start at the beginning with Mrs. Crafty Sprouts herself.

The first set is "Rock That Baby Bump".  For my project, I created a mini 3x3, that can be used as a tag or as a mini card. I used one of my fave sentiments from the set. This one just really makes me laugh.

Aren't these the absolute cutest and coolest baby/preggo sentiments? I cant wait to stamp them all on a mini album.

Materials Used:
Card 1: Inkadinkadoo Image. Prismacolor Pencils. DCWV Cardstock and DP. Peapod Twine from The Twinery. Recollections Flowers and Bling.

Card 2: Create a Critter Cartridge. Peapod Twine from The Twinery. Recollections Kraft. DCWV DP.

The second set is "Smile On". For this set I created a 4x4 featuring one of my favorite monkeys. He's also rockin' one of my fave sentiments from this set. I thought I would jazz him up by adding flock to his hide. lol. Aww shoot, I forgot to give him pink cheeks. I love me some pink cheeks, whether its a female or male image. :D

I love this set because it can be used for Friendship cards and inspirational cards. So what do you think? Are you ready to take this home with you? I know you do :) They will be for presale at the Crafty Sprouts Shop beginning tomorrow
Your next stop is Kristy. Yay Kristy!!

Don't forget to come back tomorrow to see the other 2 sets. You'll be "dazzled" by what you see ;)

Good for a Kiss...

Hi All!  I hope you are all well. Today I have a CAS card inspired by the Art Nouvea Challenge at Some Odd Girl. At first glance, well you wouldn't think of that era when you see this card (to be honest I had a bit of trouble with it. I'm thinking I should have used Kraft instead of the green base) But after a bit of my rambling, I may be able to stretch it far enough for you to see what I'm seeing. Lol.

The gist of Art Nouvea is European art that was inspired by curved lines, natural form (flowers and plants) and was the transitioning period to Modernism. So here it is, my curved lines are seen in the bum of Tiny Tia and the shape of the froggy and the Natural form is seen in the botanical dp used for the background and butterflies. Plus, I like to think that the yellow was inspired by the gold color of the inspirational picture. Lol, I know I'm stretching this. Sorry :)

If you want some gorgeous Nouvea inspiration head on over to the SOG Challenge Blog to check out the DT work (using the new gorgeous Nouvea Clear Stamps from SOG)

I also want to remind you that new Crafty Sprouts sentiments will be coming your way. There's a little bit of everything, especially for all my "Sparkly" friends.

Thanks for stopping by!

Be Free! Challenge

Image: Creeper Friday, The Greeting Farm
Sentiment: Are You Ready to Rock set, Crafty Sprouts

Happy Friday All!! and Happy Vets Day. We are back with another Crafty Sprouts challenge after taking a few days off. I think all the Halloween chocolate and goodies slowed us down, but let me tell you it was worth it. Yummmmmmm. lol!

For today, we have an easy peezy one for you. It's our Be Free Challenge which means anything goes. I created a birthday card featuring one of my fave rockin gals, Friday.  Lol, it's Friday and I'm featuring "Friday". :) So the concept of my card was to make it look like a gift. When I wrap gifts (especially Christmas ones), I like to place the ribbon and bow to the side because it makes it easier to stack the gifts. I then stamped Friday on a tag to make her my To/From Tag (Cuuuute!!!)

I will be playing with:  FFC - Monday Funday #6.  Paper Sundaes - Rectangles.

OK, I cant wait to see what your crafty hands create this time around. Make sure to visit Mrs. Crafty Sprouts, herself, and all my DT sistah's to leave them some bloggy love. Have a safe and fun Holiday. Don't forget to take a moment to remember the significance of this day and Thank all of those who have fought for us.  (This is a Thank You card featuring Cheeky Mate. I created a few weeks back but it's very appropriate for today, don't you think?) Thanks for stopping by!!

Ps. Coming Soon!!! Four new Crafty Sprouts sentiment sets that you will love and want to add to your collection! If you don't own any sets, this is the wekend to buy some up.  Most of the sets are on sale (15% off) plus free shipping. You cant beat that!!

Spooky Thank You

Image: WS Stella, The Greeting Farm
Prismacolor Pencils. DCWV Paper.

Ok so I have a bit of Halloween left in me. I think it has something to do with me still noshing on my peanut butter m&ms and delish peanut butter snicker bars, yummmmmmmm!!! (lol) that I cant say goodbye to the Holiday. I created a Center Step Card, this is my first time creating one of these. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of it tho, because its quite large but it doesn't give you all the space to create on. Hmmm, the verdict is still out. This "Spooky" Thank You card was made for a fellow crafty gal who I won awesome seem binding ribbon from. I had never played with that before and I love it!!

I will be playing with: FFC - Trick or Treat.  FFF - Spy Day #5.  Cards Cupid Blog - Bling. Dilo en Espanol - Bling. 7Kids Challenge - Fancy Folds.      Hope you're enjoying your extra hour this Sunday :)

Oliver & Amelia: Buddies, The Greeting Farm

Hi! I am finishing up my stack of cards for the Hope You Can Cling To card drive. And this little cutie is going in the pile. The challenge was to create a Happy card using bees (but if we didn't have bees we can substitute with the color Yellow). I created a gatefold card but decided to flip it to give it a different look.

Other Materials Used: Prismacolor Pencils. The Twinery Twine. American Crafts DP.    I will be playing withFFF - Spy Day #4.  FFC - Going Retro.  Simon Says Stamp - buttons.  7Kids College Challenge - Fancy Folds.  All That Scraps Challenge - Anything Goes.  Thanks for stopping by.
