Graphicat Sketch #7: Cooler Together

Happy Monday Morning!!! Hmmmm, that seems a little wrong to say, Lol. It's time to get up and start the week and this week, I'm starting it off with a new Graphicat Sketch. We are already at #7, Wow time flies!

Here's my take on the sketch. I know it may look a little off but I swear it's hiding in there. Lol. I rotated it to the right. The images are from the new School Pinkettes line from Tickled Pink Stamps. I thought Jessie and Heidi would look cute together, especially because Heidi looks like a silly little gal.

The sentiment is "Way Cooler" with a cool price of $1.00 from Graphicat Designs.

Make sure you hop on over to the Graphicat Sketch Blog to check out the amazing samples from the rest of the Catz :). And make sure to play along :)

Tickled Pink Stamps is Sponsoring...

Hey All, Happy Sunday!!!  Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring Two different challenge blogs this week, Crafting When We Can and The Corrosive Challenge. So that means you'll get double chances to try and win some TPS images.

For my card, I used Lil Allsort Fairy Kira. This is one bad ass fairy, so not your typical type. I paired her up with this very funny and sarcastic sentiment from Graphicat Designs called Happiness Fairy. This sentiment can be found in digi and clear stamp form. This is going to make a perfect Birthday Card for my oldest niece, who can be surly and have a 'tude sometimes, but I know she's going to love it because of it.

Make sure you pop on over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to check out what the Pink Ladies created. You don't want to miss it.

Thanks for stopping by!!

If You're Feeling Blue -

Happy Wednesday! It looks like a gloomy day today and how ironic that the day be the way it is as today's card is all about the crazy April weather and the different moods it brings about.

The original theme behind this card is April Showers bring May Flowers. I decided to depict the emotions and mood changes we encounter through out this time. With rain and gloom, it can cause a person to feel "blue" (ie: sad, etc). But once the sun is shining, all feelings of despair evaporate and a much more cheery and colorful disposition comes about.

Birthday Blessings

Hi All!! How are ya' liking the new blogger setup? It hasn't been very friendly with me or my server but I'll win it over soon. Lol. I hope that they at least fixed all the previous bugs.

So for the past weeks, I've been cleaning up my craft mess. I'm really trying to organize my area because even I'm getting tired of seeing that small little pile that I have in the corner. Well as I was cleaning, I came across a few loose card bases and scraps that were calling for me. It was a laborious task to pry myself away from the organizing but I managed to do it. Lol. You know the saying, "There's No Time Like The Present" to whip up a card. :)

I finally got around to using my O&A Birthday set from The Greeting Farm. I believe I bought this waaaaaaaay back in November. You know it's hard to resist all those Thanksgiving specials, especially when they are this cute? Lol.

Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!!

No Coloring...

Happy Saturday! Ok so Im quickly here to share a Vintage card featuring a No Coloring technique. There are a few ways to approach this technique. I personally like the brown ink on kraft paper, it makes it a quicky.  But I felt that  Bonnie needed some color so I paper pieced her skirt. That in itself is another approach, paper piece completely or sporadically.

So Worth The Wait

Happy Hump Day! I'm here today to share a baby card that is over due. I began creating this a few weeks back, hoping to send it off before the baby arrived but time caught up with me and well here we are...lol.

I used Cuddle Anya (currently on Clearance) from The Greeting Farm. The sentiment is quite fitting for the recepient because as much as she loves her little man she was anxiously waiting for her little pink bundle.

Thanks for stopping by!

Good Things Come in Small Sizes

Happy Thursday!! Hopefully you are all having a good first week of April Showers. We are having odd weather with high winds, high heat and a sprinkle of rain in between.

So Im here today sharing a set of 3x3 minis featuring a retired stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I used this bright, edgy color scheme because I love it :) and I wanted to welcome the new season. These minis will be great when I send off packages. I'm always stumped as to what to use to write a little note in when I send packages so most of the time I end up using post-it notes. Does that happen to you? I def need to make a few more to have on stanby because it seems like a crime to use post-its when I have enough of this s-crap to use. Lol.
Thanks for stopping by!

New School Pinkettes: Kira

Happy Monday!! Im so excited and I just cant hide it (lol) because it is Spring Break over here on my end. WooHoo!!! :) Ahem, ok back to my regularly scheduled program. Hehehe.

Today we are bringing you another New School Pinkette named after Kellie's eldest, Kira! Real Kira is a red head just like Kellie, so I deicided to give my cartoon Kira some fiery red hair as well. This little gal is ready and comes prepared with her needed accessories, which is why I thought she would be perfect for the cover of a mini comp book.

Hop on over to the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog to check out what the rest of the Pinkettes created for you. While you're there, leave some bloggy love for a chance to win your very own Kira Digi.  [Materials: Prismacolor Pencils. DCWV Paper. Recollections Paper. The Twinery Twine. Mod Podge. Mini Comp Book.]

I also wanted to show off the Easter Pinkettes from the Easter line that was released late Feb. There are four in total and these are real cuties that will look great on those Easter cards. This is also a Digi line so you'll be able to print them out and color them up in a matter of minutes.

First up is Bunny Pippa! Isn't she super cute with those bunny ears and that crunchy carrot. She's promoting healthy snacks so you must get her :D  (I'll be playing with: Paper Sundaes - Easter. The Pink Elephant - 142 Clean and Simple)
Thanks!

I'm a Pinkette!!! + New School Pinkettes: Chloe

Hello All!! Welcome to the first day of previews for the  NEW School Pinkette digi line from Tickled Pink Stamps! There will be a total of four uber cute images set to be released on April 5th. This whole line will be great for all end of the school year projects. I know that here in the States we still have between 8-12 weeks before the school year ends but you know how time flies (geesh we are already in April!!!) and so it's never to soon to start working on those teacher gifts, etc.

First up is Chloe! She's named after Kellie's youngest who is beyond adorable!! This little chick is ready to take on a full day of Kinder. I was undecided on my sentiment so I made my own little A+ paper that can be easily removed, if need be.

Make sure you hop on over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog for your chance to win your own Chloe. Just remember to leave some bloggy love! Plus, you'll get to meet the new Pinkettes (which includes Me!!) See you again tomorrow with a new Preview and a new sketch from Graphicat Designs/Sketches. Thanks!
