Feature Friday: Monster Kisses

Hello All. Today, a new feature is happening over at Crafty Sprouts blog called Feature Friday. On this Friday, the DT gals will be showcasing a specific set. To start off the series, we are showcasing Monster Kisses. This is an uber cute set with lots of Monster sayings that work with bday cards, baby cards, friendship cards, valentine, etc.

Case our DT Challenge

Hello Scrappy Friends! After taking a nice long break we are back with our first challnge of the year over at Crafty Sprouts. Wow, I can't believe that the first month is almost over. Yikes!! 

For our first challenge: The theme is to CASE our DT. I think this idea is Great because you can be inspired (and in my case, lol) copy another bloggy friend's project. I cased this uber cute Mini Calender from Mrs Crafty Sprouts herself, Erika. I was inpired the lo, the large polk-a-dots and of course the cute Wild Sprout. I just added a few extra little me things and Voila! :)

Hello All. Im here to share a Racy Vampy Vday card I created using one of my fave girls, Lilith. This image is from the Halloween line but who says she doesnt make a great Vday image? After all, valentines isn't just about romance but it is also about hot steamy passion and some other things. lol. ;) The Great sentiment comes from Crafty Sprouts latest, Fanipire (a set for all Vampire and Twilight lovers out there).

Crafty Sprouts Recap Hop

For my last card, I'm featuring the Besties for Life set. I was inspired by the sentiment I used and the movie Bridesmaids. For those of that have seen this film know that these are some crazy friends and they would do anything for the bride (her character name escapes me right now).

It's a CAS Kind of Day

Sentiment: Besties for Life, Crafty Sprouts

Hi All. Im back with another CAS card. I really like creating this style for various reasons. But I think the one takes #1 place is that I dont need to fret over my DP/CS which believe me, it takes a while to sort through it all and decide on a stack. And then the placemement of it all, uggghh. Lol. But don't get me wrong, I do love and enjoy my little creations of labor and love that can take anywhere from several hours to days.

** On another note, my base is made from American Crafts CS. I love AC DP but I dont care for this CS. Its not as sturdy as I would like it and it's not a friend to stamping, let alone coloring. Just a little FYI :)**

You Cant Have a Rainbow without any Rain

Hello!! I'm here today to share a CAS card feauturing one of my new gorgeous Saturated Canary images, Let It Rain. I really heart this image because it can be used for various themes. It can be used as a care free image, which I love. It can also just be a gorgeous head shot. In my case, Im using it to convey that regardless of how much rain may come down on you, in the end it will all be ok. This is also the reason for my post title, a perfect sentiment from the Crafty Sprouts, Smile On set.   I just love this set because it has a lot of versatile happy sentiments.

I added the sentiment on the inside but I couldn't get a good picture. I shall try again tommorrow. I believe my camera wants to give up on me, which is a HUGE bummmer because my warranty just expired. Grrrrr. Lol. 

I will be playing with: Saturated Canary - #8Clean and Simple.  CAS-ual Fridays - #34Chipboard.  Charisma Cardz - #52Over the Rainbow (I used the word Rainbow in my sentiment and I used different rainbow colors as my accents).  Lily Pad Cards - Chipboard.  **My chipboard is the big button originally from the Michaels dollar bin. However, I didnt like the print so I just used my cute scraps.**

Happy 2012!

Happy 2012!! Wow I cant believe that 2011 is already over. It came and it went in a blink of an eye. In a way, that's a good thing because that meant it was time to say goodbye to all the bad things of 2011. I know I am not the only one that faced difficulties last year but they were some really rough moments mixed in with the good ones. Well I decided that I needed to say goodbye to all those rough moments and what better way than to do it in Las Vegas. Nothing says forget about it all like Sin City. Lol. So now it's time to start fresh and look forward to new things, beginnings and journeys.

Now that the holidays are over it's time to move on with the next one to follow, Valentine's Day. I created this set of A2 cards for that reason. However, I didn't want it to just be for that day so I left it without a sentiment and used VDay like colors. So if the recepient chooses, it can be used as a friendship card, thinking of you, thank you, hello, etc.
