Hello All!! I hope you are all preparing for Easter and aren't in La-La Land about it like I was. Lol. I was recently browsing the Easter aisles with my mother and she asked me if I was going to make one for my niece. I answered her yes but that I had atleast a month to go so what was the rush. Weeeeell it turns out that we dont have a month left. Lol! So it's time to crank out those Easter cards, projects and baskets.

Shabby Chic Birthday

Happy Saturday! Hopefully you are all enjoying the beginning of Spring. Isn't Spring the best season of the year because you get a little bit of everything (rain, snow, sun) in a non violent way?! 

I'm beginning to really love the shabby chic (muted) look. I know this style has been around for a while for a long time but im a total late comer to getting on board. But now that I have, I cant get enough and Im in the process of making a few more. lol. I just love the feminine touch thats sweet and vintage.

Hello! I'm here with a shabby chic inspired card featuring Blush Babette. I'm sooo loving these Blush girls so like I said, beware, more projects to come featuring them. Plus check out that Hair! It is 2D4!!! How can I not Heart her?!  :)

This card has several techniques going: Paper Piecing, Coloring and Distress Inks. All I needed was some marker action. Lol.

Graphicat Sketch #3: What Happens in Kindergarten...

Happy Monday and Happy March! Wow!!! time is surely flying by. How Scaaaaary! Ok so today is the beginning of Sketch #3 for Graphicat Sketches. Another awesome sketch from Mrs Graphicat herself :)

Here is my take on the sketch using this adorable Wild Sprout tomboy from The Greeting Farm. WS Audrey is just the perfect blend of cute and trouble :) I'm thinking I may have strayed a little from the sketch, but when you're going for tacky cute then that tends to happen. lol.

So what do yo think of that sentiment? Cuuute right? It's called "Kindergarten" and it can be found in the Graphicat Store HERE.

BlushBabette Bookmark

Happy Friday! I'm back with another bookmark, this time featuring Blush Babette from The Greeting Farm. I thought my Bonnie Bookmark should have a sister :) especially because I like to read 2-3 books at the same time. 

With this bookmark, I used markers. Ive begun to experiment with my markers but I'm very limited with my color schemes (I only have a few) so I cant practice as much as I would like too. Also, at the moment I'm going back and forth between them and my pencils., because as much as I love my pencils, my wrist needs a break. The constant blending and swift movement is causing a lot of stress on it so I'm nurturing it as much as I can. Beware my friends, this can hurt a lot so be careful when you next pick up your coloring utensils. hehehe :)
