Flaunt It Fridays: PaperDoll Sleigh

Good Morning Flaunters Thank you to everyone who hopped with us for our Grand Opening Bog Hop. We are so happy that you enjoyed our projects and inspired you to play along with us. For this week's challenge at Flaunt It Fridays we are still in the Holiday spirit. We were asked to create a project using the Santa Sleigh from Paper Doll Dress Up. Of course if you don't own this cart, you can use a similar sleigh.

For my project, I decided to play with my cricut markers again and create my own gift wrapping paper. You can see my first version of this here. Since I created the gift wrapping simple, I decided to jazz it up with a semi-fancy tag (the bell makes it fancy, lol).

Picture 1: PDDU Sleigh project

Picture 2: TAG. PDDU - Sleigh, 1.75inch cut twice.  name.
Joys of the Season - Bear, 1inch.
Joys of the Season - Santa Bag, 1.75inch.
Winter Woodland - Tag cut twice, 3&3.5inch.
Sentiment: "No Peeking that means you"
Picture 3: The sleigh was cut(marked) at 2inches.  I used my gypsy to create the LO and then let the black marker do its job. I then used my Prismacolor Pencil to color in the red portion of the sleigh.
I created the gift wrapping relevantly simple, but now that I'm more comfortable with this method, I'm going to try some different methods. So you can look for that in the future. For the tag, I used several carts to create it.

I can't wait to see what you come up with.
** Don't forget to return tonight at 7:30 PM Eastern Standard Time for our 2Day Jolly Holly Blog Hop.  We have over 20+ holiday gifts/ideas for you. Plus there will delicious blog candy to be had. You wont be disappointed :)**

Hi Jess, what a brilliant idea to make the wrapping paper! I use my markers all the time and that is just a sensational thing to do! What sort of paper did you use to mark on? I imagine it would have needed to be light weight for ease of wrapping?
Thanks so much for sharing - I'm going to my Gypsy right now to plot out my own wrapping paper!
TFS!!!
