Saying Goodbye to TPS Challenges

Hello and Happy Evening! Tickled Pink Stamp Challenges is closing its doors. Insert sad face. They had a great run for over a year. Some were excellent challenges, some werent so up my alley (lol) but through out it all, they did provide gorgeous samples.

I'm here with my final entry featuring one of my all time fave TPS image, Lil Little Lolita Ivy. Isn't she the most adorable mini Alice out there?!!??? She just stole my heart when I saw her. She can be found in Rubber Form Here and Digi Form Here.

Happy Monday! Im here with a bookmark featuring Blush Bonnie from The Greeting Farm. It was time I made myself one seeing that Ive been using scraps, receipts, napkins, even chopsicks (lol, yes) or really anything I can find to use as a page saver.

I used the No Lines technique by stamping her with a Blush Pink DI pad from Tim Holtz. I loooove this look but it's a lot more time consuming. Plus, you have to be extra careful that you dont loose the flow of the lines because if you do, you'll begin to freak out with a few choice words and screams. Not that I know anything about that. Lol. But I do love my simple bookmark, with the muted palette (something new for me) and vintage love look.

Hi All. Here quickly sharing a Birthday card inspired by the Sketch and Primary Colors. The challenge was to use Primary Colors of the days of our youth and so originally I was going to create a very kid like card but as you can see it didn't go that way. lol. Soooo I decided to add my twist by softening the 3 Primary Colors (Red, Blue and Yellow) and thus giving me a soft, sweet card.

Graphicat Sketch #2: Wild Tea Party

Happy President's Day!! I hope you are all enjoying your Holiday lounging, bbq-ing, crafting, shopping or all of the above :)  I'm here today with Sketch #2 for Graphicat Sketches/Designs. Isn't this sketch awesome and a little tricky (lol).  It allows you to add loads of layers which in turn frees up your space for new paper pads, flowers and fibers.  It is a vicious cycle isn't it? lol

Here is my take on the sketch using some of my favorite characters from one of my favorite stories.  I might have gone a little "wild" (lol) with the flowers but I just love the look of a lot of flowers on a card. I'm sorely lacking on a variety of them but with time, I'll either learn to make them myself, bow to crafty pressure and buy a huge expensive bundle or simple say, "the heck with this, no more flowers". lol

This special belated birthday card will be going to another Alice in Wonderland fanatic (my friend's 13 yr old).  It feels good to know that the hours I spent on this will  not be in vain but very much liked, appreciated and cared for. Now I'm off to create one for my equally fanatic friend as well. Lol.

Graphicat Sketch #1: I'm a Crafty Cat

Happy Monday!!!  I'm here today to say that I have joined the litter box (lol, as one of the DT gals said) and Ill be a guest Crafty Cat. Yay!!!!  In honor of the sketch blog relaunch we are having a blog hop, showing off the first sketch of the year, some new cats (including me) and a new set of *Anti-Valentine* Digi releases!
