Graphicat Sketch #2: Wild Tea Party

Happy President's Day!! I hope you are all enjoying your Holiday lounging, bbq-ing, crafting, shopping or all of the above :)  I'm here today with Sketch #2 for Graphicat Sketches/Designs. Isn't this sketch awesome and a little tricky (lol).  It allows you to add loads of layers which in turn frees up your space for new paper pads, flowers and fibers.  It is a vicious cycle isn't it? lol

Here is my take on the sketch using some of my favorite characters from one of my favorite stories.  I might have gone a little "wild" (lol) with the flowers but I just love the look of a lot of flowers on a card. I'm sorely lacking on a variety of them but with time, I'll either learn to make them myself, bow to crafty pressure and buy a huge expensive bundle or simple say, "the heck with this, no more flowers". lol

This special belated birthday card will be going to another Alice in Wonderland fanatic (my friend's 13 yr old).  It feels good to know that the hours I spent on this will  not be in vain but very much liked, appreciated and cared for. Now I'm off to create one for my equally fanatic friend as well. Lol.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get to play along with us. Ps. The prize for this challenge is the 4x6 Margarita Set (Clear Stamps)

I will be playing with:
The Altered Alice - Chapter 12: Hearts
Bunny Zoes Crafts - #21 Celebrations
Paper Sundaes - #108 Birthday
Stamp and Create - Valentine/Love
(my love for Alice in Wonderland and my friend)

Beautiful card! I love the images you used and all of the flowers at Alice's feet. It looks like she is walking through the talking flower garden. (BTW you can easily make the tiny flowers with a Tim Holtz pine cone die and the larger flowers with either a Tim Holtz tattered floral die or any other flower die from Sizzix)...Thanks for joining us at the Altered Alice!
